i am from Algeria, and my father and my grand father told us that we are ahlu l bayt, in Algeria are called murabittin. Alhamdoulilah I am proud of this, the most important is what you do and your deeds but my lineage is to the prophet saw and given to us by Allah.

No, brother. Ahlul Bayt in Arabic means Poeple of the House (of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH). Both Sunni and Shia sects consider the Ahlul Bayt to be the family of the Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH. The Shia specify exactly who they are, though. They are considered the Prophet, Ali, Fatima, Hassan, and Hussain (Peace Be Upon Them).
