Wonderful car. I actually owned one, around 1972. The car would move! The American version had rather unsightly hood scoops, which I guess were functional. I also had a 2000TC, which I managed to break 100,000 miles with. It was actually more fun.
@@arthurfnshelby4335 P5B Coupe, one of our all time favourites, they’re 2-3 times the price for a car in similar condition... they’re worth it though 👍
Thanks for commenting, but it sounds like your SHOUTING. There’s a reason the car has cloth, but that’s not written about in here. An amazing car, sold a few years back now👍
Yes you're correct as it has power steering , it should be the thicker spoke leather trim wheel. I've got this wheel on my own one as it doesn't have power steering
Stunning car indeed
Gorgeous P6. Love it. Love the P5b too.
Totally agree Gary, we’d love a spectacular P5b Coupe too👍
Just imagine if Rover kept building cars to this standard? They would of been world beaters!
Beautiful car! A true classic.
It sure is!
Somebody said he was never impressed with them really?
Beautiful thing to drive
I know I have one identical😁😁
beautiful car perfect.
Glad you like it!

beautiful car.
My dad had a 1971 3.5s black on white with the spare on the boot lid...
Ah the 'Continental Touring Kit' as the dealers called it back in the day. Very cool.
Beautiful.. I have a 1968 2000 single carb pre-restyling white
Good choice!
My dream car
Beautiful 😁
My dad had a 3500s in this brown had full leather interior reg yag 9l I've been trying to trace it it's out there somewhere
Doubt it's still around, last taxes in 1985
I'm sure the car is long sold, looks lovely but the interior is Buckskin (cloth) not Beige. Cheers
Great knowledge, thanks....but yes, long sold.
I should like this engine stuffed into a Hillman Hunter
Engine bay on the Hunter is probably big enough for it too, great idea 👍
Had one in the 80s same colour ! The steering wheel is not the S type though!
Can these cars run on unleaded fuel?
Ideally you'd need hardened valve seats but they can run lead additive too.
@@absoluteclassiccars5050 Thanks for that, prefer the P5B but might go for one of these.

I own five of them and all run in my videos.
3500s gearbox run on 20 sae oil also check nylon drive on gear box oil pump don’t use ep 90 oil
That’s not a P6. Where’s the rust?
LEATHER SEATS ONLY !

Bumper overriders on the back are too near the end
weird - how did that happen?
Great knowledge, thanks for sharing.
I think the rear over riders have been tinkered with. They're set too far apart.
Wrong steering wheel for a 3500s

Shame it’s brown
I guess it's 'period' for the 70's.
We had a brown one!!
I was never impressed with them
Does your loan shark own one hauling his heir?
