I'm not sure I will go that deep into the topic (if there is demand, then we will), but I have a video coming soon, showing how to create subscriptions with Lemon Squeezy and Appwrite. We'll be putting a premium service behind a paywall. - Dennis Ivy
We are having issues with Appwrite server-side logic and its server-side SDKs in our Next.js project. Specifically, when using a route handler to fetch user details in the local environment, we encounter the following error: { Error : AppwriteException: User (role: guests) missing scope (account) }. This happens when we use methods like account.getSession() and account.get(). Despite searching online, we found little helpful information, and it seems many users are struggling with the same issue. Please help us understand how to resolve this error both in a local environment (e.g., on localhost) and after deploying the project (e.g., on Vercel)? Creating a step-by-step project guide would be immensely helpful.
Hey @uniorb, sorry for the late reply. First off, I hope you sent this question to our discord server (linked in the video description). Seems like there was an issue with the session OR token you are using/setting. Are you using Appwrite 1.5? - Dennis Ivy
I'm working on a video to cover this, meanwhile, try this video. I use middleware to create protected endpoints but our next tutorial on this topic will show full auth flow: th-cam.com/video/7LN05c-ov_0/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared - Dennis Ivy
