What's amazing after you have totally submitted to the Lord, after HE gives you A new heart(& you, are baptised), you start to hate sin! it makes you sick to look at it, perform it, or even speak of others performing it! The more you die to self every day, the stronger you will be in the Lords strength through the Holy Spirit! It's a Truly wonderous feeling, let me tell you! At first I'd doubt that I was saved, now that I have been tested by trials, I have no doubt I am, but I want to sin even less and less every single day! It repulses me, makes me sick, and when I see people lie, I feel an anger in myself that rises over those lies; not for the person, but the lie of their spirit itself!
I followed John for many years. He is a prolific speaker and he claim that he preaches the gospel. We have to asked the question his he preaching the gospel? According to Hebrew gospel or the book of Hebrew, the writer explains the true gospel. Christ came to fulfill the levitica law. that law Fall on dates on not a fixed day. There is also same annual sabbath in the ceremonial law. John's said the day of Pentecost falls on the first day of the week, there is not s scriptural evidence for that. Please read the book of Hebrew in it's whole. I prayed and hungry for truth .
Evil is such anthesis to God, a major function of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is to interface with it . God has given us the opposite gender and our cultures have made it, almost impossible to escape perversion of that, leading to lust.
The Lord's prayer, given by Jesus himself, says lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. I take that to mean that God will test us attires, and we are asking in our weakness to not be tested
Lead us Not into being tempted, not tested. I think you are mixing up the 2. It's good to be tested by trials, not tempted by evil. Evil is natural in unsaved man, not in saved man, thus our Prayers.

I was tempted to go to church and get me a 45 minute sermon lecture on how bad I am and how "smart" the preacher is . . . but I fought off that temptation when I remembered that we don't need anybody to teach us anything. 1st John 2:27
It says teach them “All things“ not everything. The whole letter is teaching. there’s 21 books in the New Testament of teaching. If all the person needed was the Holy Spirit then those books wouldn’t be there. Acts 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me?

And then when the Scriptures were suddenly "found" out of the blue who decided what books were authentic and which ones should and shouldn't be in the new book they called "The New Testament?" Enter the professional Christians and Divinity Schools and churches with Sunday Schools and sermons. You know what they do? They take over your life and your family unless the parents are smart enough not to get too involved.
