Thanks for the vid. Insightful and informative. Just a follow up question or perhaps an idea for a follow up video is you went over one aspect of ratios. I would love to know more about ratios in card types. I.E. the core of the deck, number of counter/negates, cards that remove something, inclusion of staples etc. I imagine naturally it’s different for each color and leader but a ball park range in each color or deck archetype would be awesome. I know a definitive number is impossible because of nuances but ranges would be cool for reference. Thanks for your time, and awesome content your making to help the community at large.
Very useful tips. Also, very important: build, test, improve. Your building skills as well as your decks will improve with practice. Don't be afraid of losing.
thanks for the tuts ! very usefull ! but is there any website we can find advices for specific card or leader abilities etc ? some desc are really weird like " trunk crimsong warrior " what is the point of turning the card in action mode when the opponent attacks, i don't get at all the mechanic of this card...

Great video! And great timing as I’m about to start testing for the next regional in May I’m attending. Will be keeping a lot of these points in mind when building. Funny enough I’m trying out Marcus’s SS list from the Core event as a template.
How many cards should a deck like gt spaceship have? I don’t wanna have to many but it’s really important to have stuff to put in the spaceship throughout the game or you lose draw power
So the cool thing about a deck like that is you can technically count the spaceship unison as -1 from your main deck since it starts the game in play. The deck can draw a lot since the leader and unison draw every turn, so I’d probably go 54 (counting the unison)

Also, im trying to make a deck which focuses on the 7 drop ui goku / the 9 drop kaioken goku but since the crimson leader is gone im not sure which leader is best, the only one i can think of is soul striker but i think that it is a bit slow to awaken and fully utilise its untap 2
those Gokus just aren't great imo, not a lot of protection, doesn't allow you a lot of 5k combos in the deck and they just have other better replacements
Soul striker hasn't been to bad for me since the crimson ban. More often than not, I've been able to push my opponent pretty aggressively by the 2nd turn. But this is just from my own playing within my friend group
@SpicePlayz for me I'd say it's more realistic for a sort of reliable turn 3 with turn 2 being quite unlikely in most games. By any chance do you have a decklist I could look at for inspiration.
Since I almost exclusively play Great Priest and SS4 Bardock Prismatic, I'm uncertain how a few of these tips help. Especially for Bardock since there is a huge lack in SS4 Black multicolor cards 🥲

@Dean Thomas yeah ik but that 7 drop ui goku is probably my favourite card so just having a jank deck that can surprise people is just fun
Soul striker is probably you’re best bet since its generic enough, and you have a lot of left over life to take with kaioken
