The only things that are "affordable" are the antenna, and the light covers
@@tlitesworldwell, by that logic I think you should include a Demon crate engine swap as affordable.
You and I got different ideas of what "affordable" is. Wheels and 35s are $4k, easy. I got five 35x11.5x17 Ridge Grapplers for a out $400 each last year. After tax and mount and balance, it was about $2600. I got some Willys takeoffs for like $500 so that's $3100. That's... not very affordable, unless you're scouring Facebook marketplace looking for used tires/rims and aren't picky about brand.
The rims are too big and tyres are too small. This is not a good configuration for offroad.
Wheels and tires ain’t cheap… my 20x10 Gear Off Road wheels and my 35x12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja Legend MTZ’s cost around $7,000+. None of these guys mods are “cheap”
Matching spare for sure. 5 tire rotations are preferred, otherwise you have a tire that will expire with time and be useless.
20 I’m wheels on a jeep. This isn’t your 90s impala , 17s with 37s.
Worry about how you spend your money not how I spend my money it’s my Jeep correct 🤔
@@tlitesworld just don’t expect anyone to take you seriously. That thing looks super lame. Poser.
@@tlitesworld most Jeep mod videos are about how to make your Jeep more off-road capable. The 20" wheels do the opposite. Which is fine if you are building a pavement princess. That light bar, implies you are also thinking about wheeling, since it's typically not legal to use those on the street. So, it's just kind of confusing advice.
@@tlitesworld shiiit if they’re gonna worry about what you do with YOUR Jeep they might as well pay for it
That’s at least $3000 in upgrades my dude. We must see affordable as different things lol
rims, tires, fender wells, light covers ,exhaust, tint , antenna, light bar . that would be 8 items my friend . but its ok alot of people cant count to 8 anyways 😂
Dang all these comments are hating on this guy its "His" Jeep. He's just giving y'all ideas on what to do. Since I'm here Jeep 6 speed on 3.5 in teraflex lift 37s 17in icon beadlocks 5.13 ring and pinion torq lockers, chromoly axle shafts, VKS frame chop front bumper, Cabfab rear bumper delete. Okay to much to list yall get the point.
Love your jeep man! Another cheap mod I did were rain deflectors (outside of window channel) don’t buy in channel, they’ll scratch tint. Completely eliminates “helicopter” sound, blocks sun, and if you’re from the north like me less chance of frozen windows. Can also put a window down a crack and any smoke will get sucked out and rain won’t come in. ✌️🤟
5 affordable mods, Step one spend thousands on wheels and tires lol... c mon man. Nice Jeep tho......
Badass looking Jeep, my man! We definitely will be using some of your ideas/advice!
Parking lot crawler. Looks good though. Wouldn't take it off road however
Also, I peeled off some of those cheap decals and replaced them with metal or plastic ones.
If your jeep is under warranty, it will void the warranty if you change the wheels, the tires or a lift kit the only way to avoid that is to go to the dealer and buy their over priced parts and have them do the over priced work so wait until your Jeep is out of warranty and then modify it
My dealership said they would not void my warranty because nothing is warranty voidable
unless you put bigger tires and bigger rims or tires but if the rims is identical size with the stock rims and tires I don't see them voiding the warranty
I don't even have fancy tires and when I had to replace them all, it was $1100. So I can only imagine what the 20s cost.
I need to get mine together I bought my antenna when I first got it & it’s been riding in the trunk the whole 2 months🤯
I can’t wait til I start getting some mods on mines I really only want larger tires n wheels . Looks good ❤
I tried using those small little antennas, and it did not work out. If you want to pick up radio stations, the signal is too weak with those. Yes, the light bars make a lot of difference but they are a huge wind noise. I’m mounted my light bar on the bumper guard upfront to alleviate the noise.
Put a plastic cover over the light bar for noise reduction! My antenna works great
Ideally you want your wheels to be about hald the size of your tires for a smooth ride, and good offroad capabilities. So 17s with 35s or 40s, and 20s with 40s. Otherwise your gonna feel every inch of thos pot holes and you won't be able to air down as well when wheeling
@tlitesworld it can still negatively affect ride quality on the road. Less rubber = less give to absorb impact from pot holes.
Sweet looking ride but it’d look even better with 5 inch lift and some 4.56s in the diff that might just make a man act up 👀
Wide 36s or 37 tires look sick asf on jeep
I have on my 2013 sport s 4 inch lift kite with 37s
It has the wrong run to tyre ratio. For a Jeep, small rims and large rubber is, what you want. This will maximise traction, ride quality, and tyre service life. Big rims with thin tyres work horribly.
@@tlitesworld No, it is just for off road use that it is the wrong ratio. For the road, it is okay. When airing down you get a far larger footprint with large rubber, small rims, and a lot more tyre flex to cushion the ride, as well as flexing around rocks, and obsticles. In effect gripping obsticles. Even at full air pressure, it has more flex and traction than larger rim small tyre. If you stay on the road or smooth off road, you will have no problems. I switched from 17 inch rims to 15 inch rims with tall rubber and it seems like velcro.
Milestar Pantagonia five 315/70 R17 x11.50 at $250 each, 17 inch Menace Satin HD bronze rims with black trim at $175 each. 67 Designs phone holder. Bushwacker black soft plastic hood deflector. Solid vinyl wrap hood strip in flat black. Rival hood struts. 13 inch am/fm antenna. Three flag decals for the two front doors, and the rear tailgate, and a support your troops sticker for the tailgate. Steer Smarts HD or Synergy, track bar/ sector shaft reinforcement bracket.
Quick moment of silence for another Jeep lost to the wrong owner 😔🫡 sorry you had to become a pavement princess, its a real shame…
It’s a real shame you hate on people for their style. You should be ashamed of yourself for being a real haters. Who hates on someone’s Jeep 😂😂😂. Moment of silence for the hater in you🫡
The first mod I did on my jeep was tires and a lift kit the second mod was covering it in mud so I wouldn’t be able to see all those those mods that you got
Hi, I recently paid off my 2017 purple Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited and now I would like to get some purple seat covers, floor mats and other accessories where can I buy these things? I had some stuff picked out on eBay but since everything came from different sellers I’m worried about color consistency. Pleas help😢
I linked all my mods in the description my friend so you can get them from trusted sources, I hope that helps you my friend
I’m sure you don’t go off-roading probably never have turn on the light bar either😂
😂😂 just turned it on a few days ago to make sure it still works , and I definitely don’t off road
That spare tire without upgrading the arm is going to bend your back door.
It’s definitely upgraded, and I’ve had this Jeep for over years and it has bent yet
Yeah so I’ve done most of these and I got about 10-15k in my Jeep. Definitely it affordable.
@@tlitesworld true but even bottom tier your still looking @ 5k+ all of them are very good upgrades but I wouldn’t necessarily call them affordable. Anyway your Jeep is pretty nice although I off-road mine so I went with bigger tires and smaller rims.
These are the type of jeep people you wanna avoid. Man has no intention of using the jeep for their true use, having fun out of the city, and just wants to make it look good.
So you’re mad at me because of what I do with MY JEEP🤔 you’re the type of person everyone should avoid because you Hate people for them beings themselves. You are a TRUE HATER🤦🏾♂️ in my opinion
I don’t think you understand what cheap is homie lol affordable most people won’t do that due to how expensive everything you listed is
Definitely understand my friend but believe me my mod are considered Jeep cheap
Don't mind the haters bro, the Jeep community is very toxic and seem to think everyone lives in an area where you can go offroad. I live in Vegas so my Jeep is setup for that, but I respect everyone's right to do what ever the hell they want to do with their money.
Isn’t Vegas by the dessert? You don’t go hit the sand dunes? That would be a blast.
@@JLStreetDoc I do all the time. That's what I'm saying, My Jeep is setup for off roading because that's the lifestyle here, but most people don't live in an area where you can do that. I also do volunteer Off Road Recoveries so I need to be able to go to all different kind of places to get people out.
So it doesn't make sense to make fun of someone's Jeep for having large rims because they either don't have a place to wheel or they are just not into that. It's a very expensive hobby to get into and you need to be mechanically inclined to fix your own rig in case you break down. No one is coming to get you, so you need to know what you are doing.
I use it for my gardening job. Right now i am having signal issues--such as left and right signals fast blinking. No brake lights. Any suggestions as to why? We tried to fix on our own.
I would think that’s a dealership thing just let them tell you what the issue is and fix it yourself
My first mods were internal. Big Bore steering and 5.56 gear ratio upgrades…. That’s just about equal to your value.
$2600 for the re-gear. That’s parts and labor included. The PCS Big Bore kit was $2400 depending on which kit you decide to go with. Since those upgrades I’ve added XRC front bumper, MT Baja Boss tires and a set of wheels.
What are the specs on your wheels and tires? Especially the offset. Are you lifted to fit those 35s
Don't go over 35s on the tires brothers. Anything over 35 kills your gas mileage
He didn’t mention with them 35s depending what model wrangler you have regearing is a must and that can be $$$ a lot depending how much a shop will charge you
Not only was that 7 mods half of them were fairly expensive.
the 7 mods? i guess everyone since it was more then the 5 stated in the title. as for the fairly expensive part of my comment i would say most people would consider tires and rims to be fairly expensive and not exactly what most would assume "affordable". im pretty sure that was well over $1500 just in tires and rims alone. in fact in a below statement you agreed that you spent over 5k. @@tlitesworld
lmao dude said quick and affordable, good tires alone are like 2k or more and wheels are about the same 😂 dawg just wanted to flex his Jeep
Where do you live that tires and wheels is a cheap mod? Can you send me a catalog?
Thanks for watching and supporting, don’t forget to subscribe and share
Why not get 40s it looks better
What’s your tint %
I been wanting to tint my jeep as well but I don’t know how much tint is legal PA
