    For 6 costs just have them start appearing at a set % at a specific late game stage if people can get to that stage and then they can roll for them... If they are supposed to be insane late game units used to cap off your board or to add as an addition once you finish your board to help the game finish. Then there is no problem adding them at like stage 6-1 or 6-5 and having them appear for everyone who is still there.

    This six cost thing just fails because now that they’re lower, whoever just hits in the lobby everyone else just has to suffer from it because the odds are so low

      You guys need to stop crying about 6 costs. They are not an auto-win if you have a weak board. If you're already high-rolling, you're now just winning even harder.

      Oh i dont know if thats exactly true. The evolution swings placements more than a six cost. You could be winning and then your forced into the evolution unit, forced to carry and itemize.

    Personally instead of RNG I'd like if in the future 6 costs were the fortune mechanic of the set. Like every game each player is assigned a quest, and completing that quest earns you a 6 cost. So you go into the game knowing you have to build certain items, play a certain way, go on a certain win / loss streak etc to unlock your 6 cost. Make the quests hard enough that it's a risk / decision point if you want to go for the strongest comps and builds, or take a risk to try and get a 6 cost.
    I think that'd be a lot more fun and interesting. Then it's not about luck, but about strategy and risk, and by not knowing what quest other people have, it'd be hard to grief them.

      ​@@aespa4thgenleaders69 That rng already exists with the current system, except you also have a chance of getting nothing. My solution is to find a way to make 6 costs rare without relying purely on rng, while also requiring players to play differently instead of the same optimal boards every time. So yeah, maybe you'll get a quest for Warwick instead of Viktor, but that's fine. If you know in advance you can build with them in mind. If the 6 costs aren't balanced that's a balance issue not an issue with the mechanic.
      Also RNG in rewards is normal in tft. Do you think Chembaron is garbage because you might get a Flesh Ripper while someone else gets a Shimmer Bloom?

    I think the 6 costs augments are the most well designed aspect of them. Maybe 6 costs could be relegated to just be possible special rewards from things like exalted adventure, prismatic orbs, carousel etc.

    Making the 6 costs rarer is probably the best thing that they could do. They wanted 6 costs to be strong but the players complained that they were too strong and too common so it's a win win for everyone.

    I honestly just want them to reduce both Viktor stun and Rebel stun to 1.5s.
    And buff the DMG they deal to compensate the reduce stun.

    It feels like you need to try to rush to lvl 10 in this set and i hate it, economy and XP traits become more powerful now

    Ohh cool though it was just a placebo of the new patch, that when I hit 7 and rolled for 3 costs i saw less 3 cost and saw more 2 cost on average and was soo confused on why. It's also weird they use an old set as a base to design stuff rather than a very old version of the current set

    Hot take: if 1 player high roll a 6cost, other players should have a BLP where it's more likely to show up, then there would be no more excuses of them being unfair which they are but atleast you get a chance to match it.

    tbh 95% of the people complaining about "6 cost rng" are the same people who love warwick portal and when someone highrolls in the lobby spam missing ping like they never highrolled before

    Wow I am so glad they didn’t nerf rebel, I see 4 ppl playing rebel comps every single fucking game with a viktor that just stuns way too much. Why wouldn’t they think that would be a problem?

      yep, 6 ppl forcing exodia every game, try to play flex and smart and you will get punished. When you win it never feels good or deserving, when u bot 4 you feel cheated and like shit.
