Brilliant observational comedy. My son is in his 40's now. I comfort myself in knowing he's about to go through all this [as though it never happened to him] with his kids...and worse.

I KNEW there was a damn good reason I didn't have kids. I ] I remember being a 'horrible selfish little git' to my parents & 2] if my teenagers did to me what I used to do, either I'd lock em in a cupboard until they turned 25, or I'd be in jail for 'deleting' them! 🤣

I agree...up to a point. Dave Allen was class, sure, but the number of laughs were few and far between. His jokes took an age to get to the punchline.
But yes....sadly missed.

Great show!! Loved the bit about your kids using the word gay to signify something bad, I had exactly the same experiences with my two middle kids, I sat them down and said so my friend James is bad then according to your saying? Truth is they actually thought James was so cool. They struggled to answer and to my dismay carried on using the word out of my earshot. Karma has a wonderful sense of humour, 10 years on my daughter is lesbian and my son bisexual 😂😂😂

Right off the bat, to hear an adult say that they have a teenager at home who is 20 is just simply wrong.Theyy are not a teenager, they are an adult.
This is in fact what is wrong with parents today, another form of coddling.
He says at the start that he has one 20 year old, and an eighteen year old and two fifteen year olds….so other than his 20 year old the other three kids are actually teenagers!
