It’s the 1st of November, opening day of the main female season in England and Wales, and Chris Rogers is heading out for fallow deer. After trying several times to get a young buck and only seeing does, he’s confident that this time it will all work out. See for yourself how frustrating fallow deer can be when they are in transit groups that move on and off your land. With the clocks changing and shorter days, the afternoon session proves a little more productive than planned.

maby an idea for showing more of the bullets collected from a carcass to show the impact of different ammo used and the result of shot placement ?

Why don't you want the fallow on the estate?

To say that a country estate doesn’t want fallow deer is very strange ! They’re a brilliant resource for any land owner when managed well, I realise they damage crops but that can be offset by utilising the herd to an advantage

why no desire for fallow? they are delicious. I'm in Australia, and i'd take a fallow before a red or sambar.

Great video. Do you use scope caps in the rain and does it affect your scope much without?

what is the reason for a pickett to not have long spikes and only have small butts antlers , is it generics or something or bad antler growth from feeding ?

What type of chestnut tree was in the video… are these native to where you were hunting… would these trees grow in North America?
