Never would’ve thought the woman Mayberry’s husband was cheating on would get with Mrs. Mayberry herself lmao (How did they even make up after everything???)
Personally I think it was a bit forced. I mean she literally payed to get the woman dead and now they're a happy coulple???
I'm willing to bet Martha was originally going to get her revenge against the teacher, but they somehow (not only) worked out their differences, but also fell in love.
Ms Mayberry was sneaking out, so it's more likely that they are hate/lovers but who knows. Maybe they realised that Ms Mayberry husband is a jerk, and Martha's family? I know they where bad but they showed sings of humanity in they last moments and wish for redemption. And they died unfairly, so my theory is that they are in heaven. So Blitz was right they did ruined a family.
I love that Verosica genuinely wants to help Blitz change or realize his mistakes, it's truly one of the best and saddest episodes of the season.
I've always wondered if IMP ever have to worry about vengeful sinners who they killed when they were alive. Seems like a great plot for an episode.
Is the imp office in the pride ring? Because how else are sinners supposed to go to their office?
"That's FUUUUHKIN RIGHT!" -Martha
Also says something about Blitzø not being a complete idiot since he apparently keeps tabs on the humans that IMP killed. Actually pretty smart to do so since you'd think people would be forming a small army.
I'm suprised Martha didn't even attack blitz. I mean did Mayberry teach her not to attack people
Or maybe she’s just like: "I hate this dude, but without him I wouldn’t be with Mayberry, so…"
I thought Mrs Mayberry and Martha are enemies. I can still see that Martha is a southern demon and she’s missing an eye because of Moxxie has shot her in the eye since Episode 1 of Helluva Boss. Now that I see her and Mrs Mayberry are couples and I guess that Martha is better off with her husband and kids
you probably just get more understanding from going to hell. its like, ill be here forever fuck it why not who cares
I mean if she's with Mayberry, the woman who literally paid Blitz to kill her, why would she still be mad?
I would have never guessed that Ms.Mayberry and Martha would get together lol
I guess if there are an infinite number of universe is potentially there has to be at least one where this happened and I guess this is the one
Me neither, but doesn't make much sense to me, after all what happend
I also like how she somewhat resembles an imp, because that was also a major factor in how she died.
The speaker is surprisingly calm given the situation.
Martha seems so much more sane and happy now, she opened the door with a friendly smile and nice greeting
She "seemed" sane and happy for the cameras too and around her family until is was hunting time.
@Sweet_Venom0027 but now she's in hell. She no longer has a reason to play pretend.
@@Rose-ghostsnflowers It's Hell, the best place for playing pretend. It helps overlords a ton.
Maybe because she likes Hell more than Earth. You know, all this violence with no consequences...
Blitz has 'Annoying kid' on his list, in this episode.
@@JackedUpEntertainment could be a different annoying kid or just a throwaway gag as we never see him go apologize.
@@TerrickTerranor like most show pilots, the events actually happened but the episode itself is very inconsistent with the lore or even gets redone as a real episode later on
Why is Ms Mayberry face so relatable when you're just getting out of the shower and someone is at the door
I just love how Martha seems so happy. Maybe Blitz did her a favor for what I can see.
The look blitzo gave her when she got out the shower killed me.
"How the turns have tabeled" ahh look
When he apologised to the DHORK agents, he visits their corpses. Presumably, they aren’t in hell.
Agents 1 & 2 should go to Hell though... for abandoning their companions' corpses in that building to rot.
@@KatzztarIt would be ironic that demon hunters would become sinner demons.
I mean they died fighting demons and the intentions of Dhorks was to combat demonic forces and protect their country. Those agents died fighting for that goal which seemed rather noble and altruistic. If not all, a good number of them should be in Heaven.
“WE were going to have a family!” hits different now.
I've seen people saying that relationship has no sense or even is toxic. That because Martha was the reason Mayberry go to hell by commiting murder (Her husband also has the fault, but probably Martha knew he was married and simply didn't care), also because Mayberry was the one who order Martha's assesination, because she hates her
I'd half-expected her sinner form to look all wendigo-like, like the cannibal townsfolk and even Alastor a bit, but guess her sin of demon-worship with her appraisal of Satan and having Roo's sigil was stronger than just her love for long pork.
IMO I think she does have Wendigo features, just more comical side instead of the true horror side that is Alastor.
Her horns have been called antlers by some. Her hair looks more like matted fur to me, not a tree.
@@Katzztar What if, her husband fell in the part of cannibal town and became wendigo along with his children. And Martha here has part of cannibal and a hunter so i think she was half wendigo
my personal head canon is that cannibals don't start out with that particular look like the folks in cannibal town.
they (the cannibals) look all alike because they all are constantly eating each other.
One could argue that this is an ironic parallel to Blitzo's troubles in the episode. Blitzo can't manage to stay together with people who actually care about him due to his own self-hatred, yet these two (One of whom tried to kill the other more than once) managed to put their differences aside despite probably the worst first impressions possible.
Perhaps, Ralf and the kids left Martha and joint the cannibal colony in Pentagram City. It is entirely possible that she liked the killing but the cannibalism was more father-son-daughter activity...
She was also a canibal like Alastor, and he resembles a deer too. Im sure she's not neerly as strong, but i find it a unique coincidence.
Being a canibal doesn't make you a deer demon, we have a whole canibal town in hazbin hotel and non of the canibals have deer features, only Alastor does because he was shot in the head because a Hunter mistaked him for a deer.
@juliaboskamp9666 I know that -_-. I just thought it was a funny coincidence that it happened twice. I only brought her weak power level because I know people would comment that Alastor is stronger.
The teeth make cannibals most often, the antlers are for people who died in forests.
@@frootkat2006 Either that or people specifically killed with hunting rifles or something similar.
I for one still like the idea of Martha and Mayberry being a couple, Because as I said it shows that off screen some of IMP's former clients and victims have made peace with each other despite everything that happened between them when they were alive.
In fact part of me is hoping that we'll now see more of Martha and Mayberry together in future episodes.
Yeah i would like a spin-off with them or one of those shorts like Sally-May got
It would be good use for it
"He cheated on his girlfriend with me, I didn’t know about her until now" is a real thing
I thought we'd see the kids and father in the crowd of cannibals in Hazbin Hotel, but they all look the same.
Me when I saw Martha and Mayberry: WHAT???? HOW COME THEY LIVE TOGETHER I THOUGHT THEY HATED EACH OTHER I MEAN WHERE ARE HER KIDS AND HER HUSBAND WHY DOES SHE LIVE WITH HER?? WHYYY-
I actually love her sinner design, its really well done
I've been waiting to see those 2 again.
Also glad to see nobody got close to what Martha's demon form looked like.
I mean, we can’t blame Mrs. Mayberry. Martha’s hot af 💀
I'm so hoping they got together because Mrs. Mayberry and Martha agreed Mayberry's husband is a dirtbag and that Martha's assassination won her respect, and now they're in love. I so dont want this to be some fling.
I could see them shit-talking Mayberry's husband becoming friends and then a couple lol
Except Martha’s still a piece of shit because not only did she cheat on her husband with Mayberry’s husband, she cheated on him again later with some rando. She’s just a POS all around, Mayberry’s only sin was that rage consumed her after being wronged horribly.
Yea but Martha can't really complain about Mayberry's husband being a dirtbag, considering she's also a cheater herself, lmao
@@ghostea25 tbh "He cheated on his girlfriend with me, I didn’t know about her until now" is a real thing

Annoying kid was on Blitzø's apology list
Unlikely to see the annoying kid from the pilot as said pilot was non-canon as revealed by Viv. While the “annoying kid” was listed on Bliz’s list, it was probably more or less a snarky Easter egg that the writers snuck in
It could be the son of the one rude lady from the hospital too, since that's an annoying kid who is still canon.
Literally ennemies to lovers
Did you know this in apology tour theres an imp that looks like beetle juic😂
That is genuinely hilarious. And a great way to bring back a character.
I hope they get there own helluva boss short episode about how they met (that would be cute and I also think this is my new favorite HB couple)
I'm sorry, but this is genuinely the stupidest idea Vivzie has ever written down.
Her only stupid idea was making a deal with Amazon for Hazbin Hotel since they’re cheap asf and won’t make more than episodes of a show
@@radiohostalastor You say that like she actually paid her animators a decent salary before and didn’t blow a bunch of money on expensive taxidermy instead.
Not the stupidest. There’s tons of other stupid things she wrote. But it’s up there.
Martha should have kept the kids almost as if Mayberry has to be good with them for her past job
HAHA, THE BACKGROUND SHOWS THATY SHE STILL USES PEOPLE AS FURNITURE
This actually was such a breakthrough to where I screamed loudly, this is at Keats my mist favorite ship in the show now!
That plot twist of Martha and Mrs Mayberry being a couple really came out of nowhere especially since Martha literally ruined Mrs Mayberry's life, but I think it's nice to see them getting along. But now I'm wondering what happened to Ralphie and the kids and where they are at.😅🤔
Something I have also noticed is that probably she isn't blind in her right eye, sure, I know she was shot there and that Blitzø even kept the eye, but it was the HUMAN eye, If you see well, people like Rosie and the Cannibals have black eyes like Martha and they see well trough them, Martha and her family also did canibalism, so maybe the black eye is a representation of her death but also of her canibalism.
I hope we see more to their backstory of Martha and Mayberry becoming a couple.
I’m also curious what happens to the other victims of I.M.P will they eventually want revenge.
Honestly this was one of the greatest subtle twists in the show and a great call back, I’m all for it.
Im kinda still on shock from that part of the episode but im also glad for them because they are a cute couple
They said in the show kids don't go to hell so they probably either were sent to purgatory or recycled to try again
I would love to see the Dhorks Agents show up as a task force in Hell. Realizing how utterly stupid it was to join that group and now they're in hell. And as such have become an assassin faction. Honestly would love to see DHORKS try to invade Hell themselves only to be met by their former employees who have a bone to pick with them.
Honestly, a short of Millie and Moxxie getting asked by them for combat lessons and that is how they become an assassin group would be so much fun.
I also noticed she resembles an imp, since she was killed by one
did you know that the gift basket that blitz gives has
his favorite snacks, cheese and hot sauce
Martha's sinner form takes elements from the Wendigo myth.
Many images of this cryptid has antlers and mats of fur. Frankly, IMO her hair looks like matted fur, not a tree.
That’s not what they look like tho… The whole deer thing started from some 2000s movie.
I would also note that Martha's missing eye looks like those void eyes the people in cannibal town have. She's a cannibal herself. This could imply that the void eyes ARE a cannibal trait, but the fact that one of her eyes is normal raises further questions if that is true.
Also, she resembles an imp, and she was killed by one.
I'm sorry to be a partypooper, but I think this is wrong in every possible way. The whole point of episode 1 was that Miss Mayberry wants Martha dead because she got along with her husband, she HATES Martha and in that episode is very clear.
So: Why suddenly they are a couple now?? It makes no sense to me, and I feel like Vivzie just did it for the sake of fanservice and nothing else.
Of course this is only my opinion and I still love the show, but I can't take this seriously because it destroys what it was established and only shows how the writting for the show has been done dirty.
Logic is for pastel wusses. Down here in hell, we do whatever the fuck we want just because. There's no second chance, so why bother being better in your second life, yknow?
This feels like a really weird and out of character retcon…
We barely know much about their characters though. Plus hasn't it been months since episode 1 happened
@@tobsonasanya4765 true but it was established that they are both straight (had husbands) and hate eachother
@hazakurasuyama9016 when was that established that they were straight. We saw them in one episode. Also yeah they hated each other but they probably gave up
*"Dang no wonder why Mrs. Mayberry wanted her dead- 💀"*
Find it interesting to see that the pride ring seems to have some rural areas.
It seems interesting that after the episode dropped, there be so many fanarts of the couple out there and it seems to be beautiful in a odd way 😅 I was hoping that Blitz might return Martha’s Eye from the moment Moxxie shot it out since Blitz got the eye in a jar in S1 Ep 2.
The antlers may also because she might have been shot with buck shot.
Such a plot twist! I really hope they do a short telling us how they got together. Also Martha looks fucking gorgeous as a demon 😍
Chazwick Thurman be like "Is it possible to learn this power?"
Blitz also had Moxxie? at the the top of his list, so I’m thinking he might apologize to him at some point.
I think the point of the 'list' is that it was just performative to prove Stolas wrong. It started off with 'Moxxie?,' because internally he knows Moxxie is someone who _really_ deserves one, then he backed out of serious apologies and only did people he could throw a gift or card at and go. He refused to address anyone he felt deserved real sincerity.
I think the relationship makes no sense since why is marrybell in love with the women who got credit and a better life from her commiting suicide . Nobody cared about her death so she contracted her to be killed with the imps. Just feels like a random cracked ship
Ever seen or heard of the trope of the girlfriend hooking up or becoming friends with the girl her man cheated on her with?
@@caffeinatedpossum yeah but why tho, even if it is a trope, Marry bell has no reason to fall in love with her infact she desires vengeance on her for ruining her life, and Martha has a psychopathic family who loves her including her husband who to my knowledge hasn't cheated on her prior to death
I thought she had antlers because she ate people
Making her based off a wendigo
And i know this is possible given thats literaly what alastor is based off of
Love to see when the cheated and mister/mistress get together and go "yeah, we can do better than cheater" and become homies. It's sooo much better than them fighting over the cheater.
Well Its like Adam said Hell is Forever....so they wouldn't have hated eachother forever so im glad there together..hope we get a short about them
Please make a video about verosika's past with blitzo
Imagine Mayberry was with Martha and went "ok...I see why my husband cheated on me"
Mayberry didn't care about Martha being a hero, she cared that she wasn't HER hero
I actually loved this plot twist.
Honestly, I was not so crazy about this plot twist. Like, how could they make up after all the mess that happened back on earth and then become a couple? As for Martha, how did she not want to retaliate or make IMP pay for what they did? Is the situation gonna be the same for the rest of the people they killed? They kill people and in the end there are no consequences?
@wolfkit2826 we don't even know the full extent of their relationship
hold up what if Martha doesnt know that Mayberry got IMP to assasinate her? what if they met by chance and they just start a relationship without Mayberry ever telling Martha who she is? like what if Martha doesnt recognize Mayberry in this demonic form and just thought she was just another sinner? i mean the way she looked at Blitz after leaving the shower is like a death stare “dont say anything” almost kind of stare👀🤔
Alastor and her would have a riot together, both having cannibalistic tendencies and living in the Pride Ring
That why I think this plot twist it doesn't make any sense narratively. Not only makes out of characters Martha and Mayberry, but it's useless and forced for the entirety of the episode.
Why make split Martha with her family without context and out of screen, when in the first episode they were a happy family of psychotic serial killers, who loves to ruin the life of others and kill brutally their victims.
The more nonsense fact is that Mayberry is in a relationship with the woman who destroyed her life, her marriage, forbidden her to enter heaven and forced her to live a life of eternal damnation in hell.
No one excepted that, because it's a bad plot twist, with no sense at all and forced narratively.
But if you like that scene, I respect it.
But cutting out this scene, I liked the new episode, and now I'm more sure that Stoliz will return stronger and healthier at the end of the second season.
I don't think it is that deep. Plus we don't know how much time has passed. Also mayberry coukd have chosen not to kill
@tobsonasanya4765 Okay, but forgiving the woman who destroyed your life is a thing, but having a relationship with her is another. It's a plot twist that was never built up during the episode. You can make a relationship between two characters who hate each other, but you have to write it and present it well. Anyway, I criticise narratively this scene, but in reality, I don't care too much about that. Because I like the episode and that scene is nothing important, it's only a little detail. Furthermore, this ship probably will be forgotten in the future because it's a ship that it can't compare with Stoliz, Asmodeus x Fizz, and Moxxie x Millie.
Imagine if they replaced that scene, with Martha and her husband and children at Cannibal town, for example, with a cameo of Rosie. Or write a scene where we discover that her crazy husband and children were killed by Adam and his angels during extermination day, so Martha created a new life with Mayberry. It would have been cooler. That would have been a cooler cameo for my taste, and the other fans that are waiting for a Hazbin hotel reference in Helluva boss would have been very happy about it.
Lesson I learned from a succubus… be humble. Don’t let envy kill your success.
"I cheated on you with Ms. Mayberry"
"Damn me too"
Mrs. Mayberry had to see what was so great about her 😂
I think you actually get antlers from being a cannibal in life. Since Alastor has them and miss Mayberry was a cannibal.
Alastor has antlers since he looks like a deer. When he was alive he was shot by a hunter who mistook him as a deer
Not really canibal town is full of canibals and non of them except Alastor has them
@@caffeinatedpossum IF you mean the Cannibals in Cannibal Town from Hazbin Hotel, their forms are too uniform to be Sinners. Every other sinners have a variety of forms from each other. Even when we have a family that all spiders, they are not uniform image between them. Arachnis is very different from Angel Dust.
IMO those Cannibals are a race of Hellborns.
Imagine if Mayberry and martha adopted the annoying kid from the pilot 😂😅
That explains why Alastor has antlers too. He also died in the forest. I don’t really see the deer aesthetic too much tbh, other than the shoes.
I feel like they realized that Mayberry'd husband was the reason he cheated and he had full control of his actions. This paves a path where the two put aside their differences and bond
martha looks super creepy as a demon. also i like the rotten black eye with a skull growing out of it
Omg I NEVER KNEW THAT WAS MARTHA!
Imagine your husband cheats on your and you’re like “Just wondering what he was missing”
Also shows that even someone that _assassinated_ another person can (presumably) apologize, make up, and even get together
I need one of the helluva boss short episodes to be about them
Agreed. It could be after Martha got killed and eventually she meets Mrs. Mayberry. They start to fight, get some drinks, kiss(while semi drunk), and start to have a relationship.
I have a crazy theory what if Martha’s Husband and kids survived and when Moxxie told them to be better, they start atone the sins
they would have to had survived the police blowing up their home. At time it's assumed that they were inside because 1) we see the stuffed toy the girl was holding land on Moxie. and 2) we don't see them leaving the hosue.
But we didn't see Moxie leave either. So they could have got up and ran off, leaving the toy behind .
Atoning for murder is one thing, but willingly consumption of human flesh? That's been held as far, far worse crime, no matter the age.
@@Katzztar you can atone the sins at anytime, just need the reason and willing to do and being the cannibal and killer isn’t the worst sin
@@javadjavadli6133 "The worst sin" is relative to the person and culture. But in US culture, cannibalism is oft seen worse than murder.

A little off topic but at around 1:04 in the episode Stolas says he doesn’t “want to do sex” with blitz and that reminds me of sir Penciois in HH with cherri bomb 😂
I actually love Martha’s sinner form. The fact that shes missing an eye in her sinner form because she got shot in the eye, SO ACCURATE!! But how did Mayberry die? Maybe she took her own life?
You may not see it first but she shot herself in the chest that's why there is a small hole were first her brooches was
I feel like Martha’s family might’ve actually went to heaven because of Moxxie’s genuine conversation with them.. it might’ve become salvation before the helicopter blew up their house..
Until the show writers say otherwise, I also headcanon that Martha’s husband and children are in heaven, leaving Martha as the only one in hell. After the events of the first episode, I could see Miss Mayberry and Martha confronting each other. Martha blames Miss Mayberry for the loss of her family. Miss Mayberry blames Martha for stealing her husband and ruining her once good reputation in the community by painting her as a murderous monster. This leaves both women at a standstill and they realize that what’s done is done and revenge is pointless. So Miss Mayberry and Martha start over and here we are.
I’m positive they went to Hell and later got killed by the Exorcist. Martha’s the only survivor.
martha was shown to be a frequent cheater so she could be just seeing mayberry on the side.
The enemies to lovers story between these two is honestly crazy and im here for it 😂
I'm starting to think that the reason Martha didn't attack Blitz right away is because she feels thankful that Blitz got her united with Mrs. Mayberry... Though I'm still have no clue how the resolved everything to result in this relationship ;-;
If Hazbin and Hellova did a crossover maybe Alastor would think Martha is another deer sinner😂
Many point out that Alastor has elements that resembles a wendigo, but Vivzi said that's unintentional, he's a deer demon.
I think Martha was intentionally made to be a comical version of wendigo.
Would this also mean that cannibals from hazbin hotel aren't sinner's cause Martha doesn't look like them at all?
Maybe the cannibals from cannibaltown came from the same time and place and all died together in some great event. Or for some reason the souls Rosie own change to resemble her
Also my head cannon is the Eason why Martha has the same colour scheme as the imps is because she was killed by imps
I think Martha’s family, or the kids at least, ended up in Cannibal Town.
