Equipping Entrepreneurs with Disabilities to Attain Economic Independence

Under the GRZ-UN Joint Programme on Social Protection, UNDP conducted an Entrepreneurship Development and Business Management Training in Kabwe, Central Province, to empower persons with disabilities to achieve self-reliance and socio-economic inclusion.
The activity was implemented in partnership with the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA), National Trust Fund for Persons with Disabilities (NTD), Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities (ZAPD), the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) and the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services.
The project is sponsered by the Governments of Ireland, Sweden, the Swiss Federation and the United Kingdom.
