I'm old enough to remember when Michael Jackson videos were World Premier Events that were shown on like, ABC or NBC or something. A new MJ video was a HUGE event back in the day and it's great that you guys made him #1 cause he deserves it!

Taylor Swift deserves a spot on this list. An average viewer would require multiple viewings to catch all the references, symbolism and hidden meanings in most of her videos. The fact that she directs her own music videos is what separates her from the rest.

People today may not remember how iconic, well-produced, and anticipated most of Korn's videos were back in the day. They have SO MANY amazing videos, and though their most recent videos aren't as great or memorable, they're still some of the best from any current Metal band. Check out their videos for Make Me Bad, Adidas, Got The Life, Somebody Someone, Twisted Transistor, Evolution, Right Now, and of course, FREAK ON A LEASH. There are more to mention, but I don't want to go on and on and on and on and on and....

The Sugar Cubes were not named like that because they were so sweet but because back in the time LSD was often distributed on sugar cubes. They were a psychedelic alternative band. When you look at Björks videos and music today you can still see that it's pretty psychedelic but she doesn't make a hype about that.

Two grievances with this list: that OK Go only had an honourable mention, and that the Red Hot Chili Peppers didn't even get a look in.
I wish TOOL at least got an honorable mention for their outstanding stop motion music videos. Disturbing but beautifully imaginative and crafted.

If you put Foo Fighters for parodies and homages, put Rammstein on here, too. Du Hast was inspired by Reservoir Dogs, Engel inspired by From Dusk Til Dawn, Sonne is a twisted version of Snow White, and one scene in Haifisch is based on Se7en. Their more recent videos are full of social commentary (Deutschland and Angst, especially) and many videos could have been full-length films in their own right.
One More Time made me an instant Daft Punk fan.

Why tease with FOB but they not on the list? Youngblood Chronicles was on a whole different level. But the number one is the number one. He broke so many barriers and artists reference his videos to this day whether in their own videos or songs.
