I see him use a light pencil before applying the marker. I do that. But some theme parks will jump on you for doing that.

It is a crutch really. I avoid using the pencil as much as possible. It slows me down.

+Tito Hulk, first off, so sorry for the late response. I use the "Chartpak" AD marker. I prefer the fine tip. It gives me a variety of line.
