Special thanks to my amazingly, supremely talented spouse who made the thumbnail. So, going off of my message in my "Battleship Bay" video, I'm taking a hiatus until my annoying, severe computer issues are either sorted out or I get a new one (tbd). Thank you all for your wonderfully kind support as well as your patience. I hope to be back as soon as possible, finishing off the requested videos you guys have (actually) been waiting for!
Songs sound like ghosts of a flourishing city which has become a submarine burial chamber... It makes me shiver, thank you to keep the myth of Rapture alive!
I'm a med student and I love daydreaming about the vibes of Rapture and all the ambience it envolves, specially, medical pavilion, of course! thank you so much, I share the feeling with some others, Bioshock 1 is my favourite game ever!
Thank you for making these! Your BioShock tracks are honestly some of my favorite things! They are some of my favorite things to put on while I draw and edit! I even used the Arcadia one while doing some DMing and storytelling stuff a while back. It fit the mood and atmosphere perfectly. Thank you so much for making each of these tracks! Can't wait to hear your next one!
I love *_so much_* that you included a 1950s rendition of Goodnight, Irene 💙 Also, would you kindly pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease do ambience for Eve's Garden before the fall of Rapture 😂😂
Thank you so much.... medical pavillion is my favorite level in bioshock. Bioshock 1 is my favorite game ever made. The ambience is like no other. This upload means a lot to me. Thanks again, guys
I really hope there will be a next Bioshock Game taking place in Rapture in the future. I‘d like to experience some places from 1&2 again in better graphics and resolution. Nothing would make me more happy so thank you for not forgetting this beautiful game and it’s hilarious ambient potential.
I can’t even begin to express how thankful I am that you made this masterpiece, I’ve been wanting to make something like this but lack the skill and your videos are incredible!! I have such nostalgia and homesickness for rapture and listening to this makes me feel like I’m there 🥰🐋
omg thank you so much for your (incredibly) kind words, Ivy! i'm absolutely speechless (legit i want to say more and i've been writing this comment for a solid 5 minutes but don't know what to write)! thank you for your support!
Would you kindly do more of these at some point? I'm sure it's a lot of work, it's just tremendous and there's nothing on TH-cam quite like your assortment of videos. They really create this experience of almost a tour of a very real Rapture. The kind of experience we never got to have.
Hopefully you can get back to making these again. As a huge Bioshock fan I have always been seriously impressed with these ambience videos, you nailed the atmosphere. Hope all is well!
Long time listener, first time commenter (and subscriber!) Ive been in love with your rapture ambience videos since i first stumbled upon the kashmir one ages ago. I hope your laptop issues get fixed soon, i have a janky beat up one myself so i understand the frustration. I cant wait to see what comes out the pipeline once it does get fixed though, hoping some bioshock 2 and burial at sea locations get some love (High street, Fontaine's Department Store and Minerva's Den especially). Anyways, amazing work as always, cheers!
thank you so much for your kind words and for your support (incidentally, all the places you just said are on my list lol)! i know the hiatus (or is it a delay) isn't great (glad you understand the frustration), but still, thank you so much for your support during this time! i really appreciate it!
Awesome! Glad to see you are still making new ambiences. Your work has helped me through countless study/crunch sessions for college and battles with my insomnia. Wish you all the best! Thank you for what you do.
OMG the man strikes again!!! Dude as ive said in one of your previous videos years ago , its amazing. I love it. Keep up the good work , take care of yourself and come back to us when you'll have time and other ambiant ideas. Gosh i love these ambiance videos 👌
i absolutely adore these videos, you're doing god's work! it really helps satisfy my craving for any sort of bioshock content, plus they're just really relaxing in general :)
not going to lie, life's thrown a lot more at me than i originally expected. trying to get back into the swing of things, but having a hard time with it thanks for asking. appreciate it :)
that's been added to my list of requested videos, but due to my computer and mounting issues with it, i'll be taking a hiatus to sort it out or get a new computer and editing program. regardless, thank you so much for watching! i really appreciate it!
(Time 52:25) Connie Francis I will wait for you. My 3 fave songs here are Connie, Jeepers creepers (Time 19:16) and Mr Sandman (Time 6:56) but the start of Mr Sandman is not it's best since that loud noise covers the opening line Mr Sandman bring me a dream. Small details are huge. I wish the music audio was a bit louder for all songs and a bit more clear. It can still be fully ambient but a bit more clearer. I got my volume up fully. Making the whole file saved as equalized will help it be even better :) I give this particular one a B it can be an A+ if it was remastered a bit and the loud sounds only cover the spots in a song that aren't big in importance.
thank you for the tips! i haven't had the time to play around much with the equalizer (it more so floats around in the background when i work), so this gives me a reason to really explore it more. i purposefully put the music at a lower volume to give a sense of the cavernous space, to continue the sense, also, of the city being so empty that even the music feels distant. thank you for watching and your support! thank you for the grade, also; anything above a D is good with me haha :P
Hey great idea! The only thing to say negative is that since the Connie Francis song is 1966 and Ray Charles is 1962 it would have been best to call this 1966 after the date connie released I will wait for you... 2 other tracks great to add are boogie boogie bugle boy and the four lads Istanbul not Constantinople :)
both of those are actually in my library, but i specifically pick the music not for the year it was released (that can be very limiting), but more how it affects the metaphorical "space". connie francis' song is sad and wonderful and works for these empty spaces (imo) and ray charles works well in that regard as well.
@@LucasHarris No, I got these Corsair Haptic headphones with haptic bass. Great stuff for gaming, music etc. But it's because of that I hear this odd, sudden uptick in the bass every second or so.
