We have a Norwegian fjords cruise on the Disney Dream coming up later this year and we are finding ourselves in a similar situation as you where we are considering purchasing DVC. Can I ask on your cruise was it a scheduled DVC presentation you attended or did you have to arrange a meeting with one of the DVC cast members?
Hi Guys! So nice to hear from you. And thank you for watching our madness 😃 oh my the Norwegian Fjords are GORGEOUS, you are in for a special cruise (little jealous). Regarding DVC there will be an event normally day at sea for you to attended as just an introduction. There you can pick a time to meet with a rep on a one to one basis. Also there is a DVC desk onboard which is usually manned when at sea, so you can speak to someone there too. Have the most AMAZING time ✨✨✨

First off welcome home and welcome to the club :) Second, please don't use your points for Adventures by Disney, non-US resorts or on a cruise. You are far better off renting your points for money and then using the money to buy these experiences than using the points through Disney directly because of how terrible the conversion rate is. Use your points primarily at any of the resorts in the DVC in the system for the best value which includes Walt Disney World deluxe resorts, Disneyland, Aulani, Hilton Head and Vero Beach.

So true. Never the best use of points. Add cruises into that conversation too. They essentially just give you credit for your annual maintenance fees. Best use of points is staying at a DVC property.
