I'm guessing it was algae from leaving the water in the containers, just never cleaned them out. But amazing crop, right?

May i ask, what variety of waternelons are these? I am curious to know if they have a particular name and whether they are seedless, or are they the larger seeded variety? Where i live in New York it is hard to find the big old fashioned seeded type of watermelon, which i prefer to the modern seedless varieties. Im just curious which type do you prefer to grow? Thank you! *
I agree, I live in NY as well, I can't find the old black seeded watermelons anywhere, I prefer them too. Don't like the white, " seedless" ones
The seedless ones are not organic even if they say so it's impossible to be seedless and organic because seedless means it's genetically modified from the get! The chemical companies are seizing all the seeds and making it impossible to find them they want everything GMO'd!

Great but can you allow them to bear more than one melon from each plant? If I want to . and do I still have to pollinate them?.thank you for continuing to show us ways we can grow fruits without having the land space.
Each tree you should only leave 1 fruit because so the tree will focus on nutrients, so the new fruit will be big and succulent.

Will a second batch of watermelons grow in 75 days or sooner?
No. You don't want to let too many grow per vine. Two at the most for small, one for large, otherwise you get inferior tasting fruit.

I think he just adding those watermelons up on to the real. Those watermelons doesn't connect to the plant if you look at it the watermelon head most of it goes inside so that you cannot see - secret. This just for him to earn more viewing on his video.
I don't believe it, because he didn't show us the polarity of the melon fruit clearly. It looks like buying a watermelon from the market and putting it on. Then take a photo from a distance to avoid the truth.
