- कांगड़ा में कांगड़ा यात्री सदन से करीब 1 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर अच्छरा माता का मंदिर है, अच्छरा मंदिर को परियों का स्थान भी कहा जाता है, इस मंदिर में एक झरना है जिसमें करीब 25 फुट की ऊंचाई से पानी गिरता है, इस झरने के बारे में कहा जाता है कि ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में यहां पर परियां स्नान करती हैं
कांगड़ा में गुप्त गंगा से होकर निकलने वाला पानी अच्छरा कुंड में झरने के रूप में गिरता है, इस झरने के बारे में मान्यता है कि जिन लोगों को चर्म रोग होता है और भूत प्रेत से ग्रस्त होते हैं यहां पर स्नान करने से उन्हें लाभ प्राप्त होता है
जिन जोड़ों को संतान प्राप्ति नहीं होती है,वे संतान की चाह में अक्षरा झरने पर स्नान करते हैं,उनकी मनोकामना पूरी होती है कुछ समय पश्चात उन्हें संतान की प्राप्ति होती है।
इस मंदिर को परियों व नरसिंह भगवान का ऊर्जा का केंद्र माना जाता है यहां पर किसान नई फसल चढ़ाते हैं यहां पर भैरू बाबा व हनुमान जी का भी मंदिर है। अक्षरा झरने की शक्तियां देखकर मुगल शासक अकबर ने भी यहां पर स्नान किया था।
अमावस्या,ग्रहण,पूर्णिमा व सक्रांति के दिनों में यहां स्नान से मनोवांछित फल प्राप्त होता है।
In Kangra, at a distance of about 1 kilometer from Kangra Yatri Sadan, there is Achchhara Mata Temple, Achchhara Temple is also known as the place of fairies, this temple has a waterfall in which water falls from a height of about 25 feet, about this waterfall It is said that fairies take bath here during the Brahma Muhurta.
In Kangra, the water coming out of the Gupt Ganga falls in the form of a spring in the Achhara Kund, it is believed that people who have skin diseases and are afflicted by ghosts get benefits by taking a bath here.
Those couples who do not get children, they bathe in Akshara waterfall in the desire of children, their wishes are fulfilled, after some time they get children.
This temple is considered to be the center of energy of fairies and Lord Narsingh, here farmers offer new crops, there is also a temple of Bhairu Baba and Hanuman ji. Mughal ruler Akbar also took a bath here after seeing the powers of Akshara Falls.
Bathing here on the days of new moon, eclipse, full moon and Sankranti gives desired results.
