Just loving that so much of Bishop Barron’s content here is outside my ability to understand it. I feel like I did when I occasionally overheard my Dad and Mother talking. I might not understand. But it felt good to be in their company. So much beauty. So little time! ☺️❤️

Is it possible that Aquinas was slightly autistic 🤔

Let me put it in plain English and remove the arcane Thomistic language.
God is infinite consciousness/mind. Our reality (including us) is an idea in God's mind that God sustains at every moment.
The Father is raw being (verb, not noun, like be-ing). The Son is the Father's knowledge of Himself (self-awareness). The Holy Spirit is the thought that proceeds from that relationship.
Sin is incompatible with God because God won't remember sin. It will be purified/dis-remembered. God only thinks good thoughts. The sinful parts of our soul will be forgotten. God will remember the good parts of us and then complete us as we should be.

Thomistic language isn't archaic, it is fitting terminology for the field its in, namely theology.

That's a beautiful thought. In luisa Piccarreta's conversation with Mary the Blessed Virgin, that's exactly how MARY felt at Nazareth in the presence of God's work of LOVE.

Brilliant and scholarly Thomistic presentation of the common good, virtue and very pedagogically beautiful trifecta: metaphysics, theology and ethics. Being, God, action in the real world. The non-competitive Creator who wills only our own good, and thus of the society in which we live, if we but cooperate.

Loved the quote of Herbert McCabe about the Creation. God creates "“Not just like a sculptor who makes a statue al leaves it alone. But rather like a singer who keeps his song in existence al all times”. Now I understand better de creation narrations in Tolkien (Silmarillion) and Lewis (Narnia). "God singing its creation". Very similar to the depiction of God Speaking the World, calling it to existence of Genesis 1.

"... to love is to will the good of the other" ... ie, it is to will the Other Good / Interest (anti-self-interest), or rather, to love is to will the good / interest of All; to love is to will the Common Good.
    ... the Common Good is non-competitive, Non-Zero-Sum ...

@BishopBarron Thank you for a wonderful lecture.
Two points follow from the doctrine, that “[God’s] will [is] that the good creation evolves towards ever greater Perfection precisely under the influence of the final causality of the prime mover.”:
    1. That the “Act of Creation” is a ‘Process’, not an ‘Event’ which occurred “In the beginning…” Creation, therefore, has been, and is, happening from the beginning. Could it be that “From the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth.”?
    2. Man, being in the image and likeness of the Creator God (Gen 1:27), is a self-creating creature. However, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John‬ ‭15‬:‭5. For the final cause -the lure for all novel creativity-is God’s pleasure in His creatures, as the Father is in His Son ““And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”” Mark‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬‬.

God Christ, the King and Priest of every Holy creature is prophesied by Isaiah, who had the joy of being able to prophesy about the King among all Holy kings, the Son of the Most High Eternal Creator, the Love of God the Creator among us. Isaiah prophesied what was and is.
God Christ is our promised King; the Liberator from the yoke of the dead beasts that have devastated us since our very creation, when they were already planning our murder before our Creator; the one who can hold power, and does not die in pride for holding all the power
Honor and Glory to Christ, our Savior

In my mere opinion, the prophet Isaiah describes to us the feast of being able to hear the Living voice, His Word, enjoy His Words and our Healing, that will be the exquisite delicacy.
Our Holy decisions and repentance, and sincere sacramental confession of each one of our unclean decisions, will be cause for celebration.
"It will annihilate death forever", we are housed in our bodies, and we tend to assimilate that death with bodily death, a very important fact in our earthly trial, without a doubt, but I believe that death among all death, that which is eternal, It is the infamy of pride, the decision of the dead, that murders us before our Creator, Father of God Christ, and Father of every creature shown worthy of HIM.
"and they gave glory to the God of Israel", God Christ only wants to be thanked and asked for forgiveness from His Most High Father. In His Humility and Greatness, He offers all His miracles to the God of Israel, His Most High Father, our Creator
In my opinion, the temptation of triumph in us, souls in trial, I believe is one of the most difficult to deal with, the temptation of pride when we obtain worldly success, when what is really important is spiritual Success, that is, the Victory over the temptation, the "knowledge" that we suffer and the torture, for which we were evicted from the Eden that was our land, and for which we suffer so much each generation
God Christ tells us that as little as we offer Him with generosity and love, HE will multiply it more than in others, that is, in ourselves.
Let us be grateful every day for the food of our brothers, because in the food of our brothers, is ours.

Christianity, trying to be or resemble as much as possible a follower of the Risen Lord, is the most interactive and immediate decision that can be made.
every day, at all times and in every place, decide as those who are and become children of God the Creator decide, those who decide in the Will of our eternal Creator, His Commandments to display the Sonship of the Holy creatures.
make Holy decisions without anyone seeing you, only the one who sees everything; make Holy decisions without anyone hearing them, only the one who listens to everything. That which is born and settles in our hearts is clearly read by the Lord of good souls, the one who makes happy all those worthy of serving Him.
The truly Wise is the one who decides to make this brief trial a better place, to carry that decision in his soul, during this brief trial, this brief dream subject to completion, and being worthy, for all eternity.
