Christmas Flowers Ornament

This week, Kelly from Off the Beaded Path shows how to make the Christmas Flowers Ornament made with the 3 hole Navette Beads. This is a great project for any beader with stitching experience.

Materials needed for this project are:
*56 - 3 hole Navette Beads
*112 - 4mm Fire Polish Beads or Bicone Beads
*12 Grams - 11/0 Seed Beads
*1 Gram - 15/0 Seed Beads
*21 - 2 hole Kite Beads or any of your favorite 2 hole Beads that are similar in size
*3.27-inch (8.3cm) Ornament Ball
*12 yards of your favorite beading threads
*Size 12 Beading Needle

Thank you so much for this one Kelly. I just finished the first one and have enough beads for another. I may have to add a little collar around the top. The thread has stretched a bit with the weight and it will come off over the cap. Dang, ain’t it always somethin’? (Wouldn’t trade it for the world though.)

Thanks for the link Kelly. Ordered them yesterday, slightly smaller than what’s called for but maybe if I use Miyukis it will be fine. 2 days after I posted this Target got some in stock too. Then World Market. Is it a “ask and you shall receive” situation? 😆
! I can’t find Christmas balls anywhere… except already painted/dyed/decorated. Even standard size much less the 83mm size… unless I want to pay $20 for them to be shipped from China! Arrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhh! Second year in a row. Signed, seattlite.

No. You cannot replace the Navette three hole beads. They are much larger than superduo beads.
