I had the distinct pleasure of living full-time at Honey Bear for almost 4 years. This was several years ago when the developers, Gary & Jeannette Sachs, still owned the park. There were about 12 year-rounders at that time, and we were a close-knit family. I spent a lot of time wandering in the meadow, especially in the early morning when the elk were grazing on the sweet, green grass. It was a wonderful place to live, and I was sad to leave. I'm so glad you got to experience Honey Bear; it truly is a special place.

New subscriber, 4 short years until I retire. I am adding this wonderful secret campground to my list. Perhaps this will be my future snow bird location. I see the two of you have settled in Florida. Hard to believe as I watch your older videos of the time you two spent on the Oregon coast that you don't yearn for the beauty of those ocean beaches, agates, sunsets, and your "honey hole" campground. Thank you for sharing your adventures, love them, you two are a hoot.

You got me at just the elk hanging out. That beach is fantastic. Love seeing wildlife. You could really do some fantastic painting there. Loved seeing some of the clips from some of your adventures. 6 months is like leaving a full time home.

We stayed there from Nov. To Apr. It was absolutely beautiful! The Elk were amazing, the wide open space was so nice. The managers were very nice and helpful!
Yes, we met them and the older lady that lives in the other tiny home. Charlie still out walking every day! Really liked Tammy, David and Liam, nice family. We also really enjoyed Rick and Sue , they've been there since 2021.
What a beautiful RV Park! The grounds are amazing. We have a friend that has property in Gold Beach, she absolutely loves the area too. Thanks for the tour friends. Can understand why it would be hard to leave.

Hello!! It doesnt hurt to ask! Those tent sites in the meadow don’t have electric though but there are other sites near it that do! Yes, we stayed 7 months and still miss it lol. Our friends said the elk herd are back! Love to know if you visit there. Hugs to both of you -Tammy
