DIY Coasters using Tumbling Tower game from the Dollar Tree

- I used the wood pieces from the Tumbling Tower game from the Dollar Tree and made coasters and a holder for them. You can decorate them anyway you like. You can stain them or paint them, or leave them natural. Once you are done decorating them, give them a coat of polyacrylic for protection!

I thought 2021 was going to be a good year for me and my channel but I was completely and thoroughly disappointed. 😢I'm even further dismayed as I look at the statistics of this past weeks videos and realize most of my subscribers really don't give a crap!! Oh and don't even come at me with your excuses!!! I've watched your videos in full, seen you comment and active on TH-cam but not give my channel the same love and respect I've always shown you. Up until now I blamed TH-cam for not sending notifications but not anymore!! Everyone can check their notifications page on TH-cam just as I do!! I have worked very hard on my channel and my videos! And I do not deserve to be disrespected or bullied by anyone!!! I think it's time I clean house again!! Just to give you an example, almost none of you watched my last Critter Cam video. And the couple who did, only watched it for 5 minutes, not in full! And don't lie, I have the statistics from the video to prove it!!*

I’ve been looking for a coaster box to make out of Jenga Blocks. A small one because I’ve made some coasters just like these and I stained them with Waverly Antique Wax Paint and washed off excess paint with a baby wipes and it turned out really good! I will use the waverly chalk paint on the box as well. 🤗♥️

Awww thanks!! The hardest part is sanding and waiting for glue to dry. I might try wood burning and then seal them with some Polyacrylic.

@Furtastic Friends I just wanted to tell you that I made the box, and coasters. In each of the four squares. I made white, and stained with antique wax. The box I stained in antique wax. They turned out really nice.

Hey this is cute and practical 😍 I have a friend who made me tile coasters with foil for decoration. Only problem is I'm a klutz and dropped them or my purry furries knocked them off the end tables and they broke. These wood ones wouldn't break except where they are glued and they can be reglued! I'm excited to share this on my FB and show it to my friend cos these could definitely be foiled!
Oh no! I'm sorry yours broke!! I'm thinking of decorating these with wood burning or using a stencil and putting something like "I love my furbabies" in the middle. Then I'll seal them.
Can you add a picture to each of the coasters?
Do you need to seal with Mod Podge to protect the wood?

Thank you very much!! Once you are done decorating them, I would seal them with some polyacrylic. You can get a small can at Walmart. I would seal them before you put on the cork bottom. 🤗
