Love that you still put budget knives on. Most channels start off budget and then it ramps up to super crazy customs. You really do Luv them knives! Keep it up brother!
I think the vast majority of people saying these are junk knives are just parroting what they've heard, without actually having handled one. I have heard some negative things about some of their early models, but everyone of the FH series knives, plus the Adimanti that I own is excellent quality. Perfectly centered blades with no play in any direction, nearly flawless fit and finish, and some of the smoothest action out of the 50 or so knives I own. The FH921 has better drop shut action than any of my knives, except for my Bugout. I don't give a rats ass about the steel bearings, I care about results! I've bought $100+ Benchmade, Spyderco, and Cold Steel knives that have had minor issues that needed correcting straight out of the box. The 5 Ganzos I own have never had a single problem.
I have one of the Ganzo 759's, the one that is a Delica copy (about 11 dollars). I have carried it nearly every day for two years... I save my real Delica4 for Sunday... : )
I have a ton of budget bangers, and quite a few of them are these FH series Ganzos, but I've been carrying my higher end knives. I swore I wasn't going to buy any more budget knives just to sit in my case and collect dust. Then you come along and show another cool looking Ganzo. Sheesh.
Just ordered the Orange for $28.00 shipped from amazon . I love the simple handle design , the wire clip , and the blade shape it self the perfect EDC to use and abuse on every chore and task , plus it will work fine in self defense , it's a good bit STABBY . I'll never spend more than $50.00 on a knife , not I knife I'll actually abuse . I do not need a $350.00 letter opener .
They are really good knives. I've had zero trouble with any one I own. Ever even had to adjust the centering after years of use. Glad you took a chance on them.
You nailed it brother. I recently fell into the knife world, after loving and collecting blades since I literally can remember. But this 922 is what caught my eye, I bought it and after receiving and carrying it for one day, I drove deep into research and collecting. That flipper tab is the best I've used.
Ganzo has cleaned up their act over the years, I've been buying them for years but it used to be that they'd require a ton of breaking in, or you'd get a lemon that would just never feel right. Nowadays they almost always come smooth and tight out of the box, wonderful knives. The only thing I wish for is that they would start skeletonizing the liners on more of their knifes. I see they did that on this knife and that's awesome. So many of their knives are over the 4oz weight limit that I tend to impose on EDCing a knife. If taking the effort to skeletonize, using wire pocket clips, and generally lightening things up is in Ganzo's future then I will be even more of a fan. I usually just go for their axis lock style knives these days, but I think I may actually give this one a try.
You know I never understand the that is one oz too heavy for me on pocket knives. Four or five ounce doesn't matter to someone who carries a Walther PPS in his front pocket.
yeah dude I picked up this 3 ounce knife and my wrist broke! I had to shave my blade down shorter to make it weigh less bro. I also only wear flipflops cause shoes are too heavy, ya feel me
As long as the Ganzo / Firebird knife uses real genuine steel that is advertised, there is nothing wrong with them. And some of the Ganzo's I have function better than more expensive knives. How many more expensive knives have I bought with a free spinning pivot, - Too Dam Many. I would love to see this model in 3.8" blade made of 14C28N. Also that is kind of a thick boy, if they could slim it down to around .4 inch or less, that would be much better.
I got one for my big brother and I. They are dope. The whole design and features are hundreds of dollars above the price . It cuts/slices/stabs/slashes like a dream. Blade Internal stop pins Double dent Handle Scales Liner Milled liner Bearings Notch pivet Wire clip reverse clip clip cover D2 blade G10 handles 1 "down side" hardware size. And it was all 30$ shipped. It's been a pleasure to have. Play with the pivet to get your drop right. A little wiggle in the pivet is cool if your cool with it. You get the best drop shut and your not stabbing hoods vests or table tops. The action is amazing. I haven't held too many knives but it's smoother than my damascus/regular carbon elementum when I got friendly with the pivot and Lube.
No matter what people say, you almost can't get a better folding knife for the money than a Ganzo. ...well Cold Steel but that's really it. PS: Great review as always!
I personally bought a black one with a black blade, for $35 I have no complaints. Super action, sharp, finishing is better than on some more expensive knives. I definitely plan to use it as an EDC knife. The prices of other brands have skyrocketed and I don't plan to pay that much for now. Personally, I don't mind that the knife is Chinese, I would rather buy 3-4 Ganzo knives than pay so much money for one, for example, Benchmade
I ordered the green one on Amazon with the Civivi elementum and the CRJB Scoria and this knife has better action then both of them. It came sharper then both of them and is cheaper then them as well. The fit and finish is perfect and it is just really hard to believe. Makes me want to return the "Better" knives lol
Ganzo is bad because the echo chamber at blade forums says so. This looks really nice. My last Ganzo was the FH11 and that was perfect. I have a few from 2013-15 and some needed work but they were in the 10-15 dollar range. Good video!!!
I have three Ganzo's and I think each one is a tough little bugger. When I want to really work I take one of my Ganzos. Sure you need to strop/ sharpen a little more often but mine are all at or below $25 so who cares if you replace them more often. As you pointed out they are giving you honest blade steels and other materials at a very affordable price with pretty good looks. What more can you ask for. From 🇨🇦...stay safe and sharp
I picked up an FH41 a few years ago, loved it but found the blade a bit pointy so I filed it a bit. Funny, the knife now looked a bit like the Laconico. This model also looks like the Laconico but with the added feature of wire pocket clip. Very cool knife!
Well put Sir👍💪. A great deal on a solid knife is greatly appreciated to me. I'm just waiting for power cutlery to get them in stock. I feared Ganzo was getting pushed out by the big boys since it seemed like they stopped making new models. Glad to see this new model.
My pocket book is starting to hate your channel, LTK. I keep telling it to shut up because you always come across with the deals! Ganzo FTW! No shit, Sherlock! Lololol! Whenever I'm elsewhere discussing knives, I always link and send folks to your channel. You do excellent work. Thanks.
It doesn't matter what knife you're reviewing. Your videos are always fun & entertaining. Even for us Libtards. lol I really like the orange & blue/gray. I trust your judgment for sure. Great Video LTK!
I got that custom knife from ebay for around 1200$. Watched the first few seconds and had to have it. The seller said it's a ganzo leconico. 😉. I think I got a deal!!
I laughed at the part where u said when u know you're about to do a job that's gonna beat up your knife so u ask yourself if u really wanna beat up that expensive knife u got or a cheaper one lol. So me.
I've got several Ganzo knives. The are great, I think it's the best buget around, at half price of other budget. D 2 takes a good edge, love the new models 😍. Where did you find them. Powers doesn't have Em yet . Didn't see it in you list ,?
Haters GONNA Hate. If U have a issue buying Chinese Knives, FINE. Just DON'T bad mouth a less than $50 example, then go spend over $200 on a Name Plate!! I E : (Reate,We etc) J/S
If you got a bad one back when, take my word for it, anything in the FH line is budget perfection. Their D2 holds an edge longer than lots of big brands D2 for me.
@@matthewadler1329 I had a knife, forgot the model since this was many years ago. They had the stop pin screwed it. Sheared both screws in under a day. Haven't owned one since then because of that. I do like the look of some of the new stuff.
@@HopsAndLead I use my Ganzos all the time and love them. They outperform more expensive brands. Just watch LTKs reviews; He doesn't exaggerate, they are that good.

That may be the best model. Totally agree this looks great. Glad Ganzos back.

Glad to see a new design from Ganzo. I like this one. Definitely getting one
Like the wire clip. Never had a problem with D2. Looks like a win to me.

I dulled my Ganzo beater, so this orange one will have to take it's place haha
It looks very similar to the FH41 tho
The D2 from Ganzo Is great! It cuts and cuts and cuts! After stroping the edge Is razor sharp again. Looks like an Harder D2 .

You turned me onto the Ganzo Adimanti frame lock. Better action than most of my Kizers and Sharps. 👍
I think this is the best looking Ganzo since the FH11.
Just ordered mine on Amazon for 25 clams. I wish they used AUS 10a steel.
Wow man!, that's a hell of a lot of knife for the money, looks nice too, love the grey one man (soon to be blue) lol👍atb Dave

Also, how good is Ganzo's 440C?
ganzo fh81?
Would it be an abomination if they offered this in carbon fiber?
fox core disassembly ??????????

Spyderco's are for me the ugliest knives ever, I don't own one and I'm proud of it! 😆
I love everything about this knife except their oversize bird logo. The knife is beautiful but the bird makes it look cheap.
Lol. Right on!
💯
Rant away !!!!!!!
Handle is too small.
