Zeno doesn't appear to be omnipresent, he may be omnipotent or at least nigh omnipotent. His guards are probably there to protect others from him, and maybe also have a similar relationship between gods of destruction and their angels.

Wild (and most likely not correct) thought regarding Zeno, but what if he goes through stages of life like everything else but then when he gets old and "dies", he just resets into being an infant? He loses all memory (or maybe retains some understanding of who he is?) and it's then the Daishinkan's job to raise him from there. It's a never ending cycle that would probably explain Zeno's current mindset. He's still a kid in his current cycle. Hell, let's go one step further and say that maybe Daishinkan is the true strongest of the universe, including Zeno. Much like what Whis is to Beerus, he can prevent Zeno from doing something he shouldn't... should it become necessary. Although then that would beg the question, why would he allow Zeno to destroy a third of the total universes? Only explanation would be that he felt they needed to be destroyed - or maybe he'd only ever intervene if all universes were threatened. But... I have a hard time believing myself that it was all thought out like that. All head-cannon theory stuff of course, but maybe it will serve as a catapult into finding out the truth/explaining things (besides waiting for it to be explained, if it ever is).
It doesn´t look like Zeno can create Universes. I created 1 theory (I don´t think that it is true xd maybe it's kind stupid). Well, as we seen Zeno cares a lot more about the Gods of Destruction than the Kaioshins, when Kaioshins were being killed by Majin Buu Zeno didn´t even care but when Beerus and Champa did a tournament he showed up. I see Zeno like the Ultimate God of Destruction because he seems like just a thing that was created with a super power to destroy. He is like the one that rules over the God of Destruction and that makes him the Highest God Of Destruction there is. Another thing, we know that the High Priest works for Zeno and is Whis father but what about his mother? We know that there are female angels (Vados) so Whis must have a mother. My theory is that maybe there is like another Omni-King but not to destroy but to create, that created the universes and Whis mother works for that Omni-King that is the Ultimate Kaioshin that rules over the Kaioshin. 1 thing that contradicts this theory is the fact that after Zeno destroyed the 6 Universes the other Omni-King that creates universes didn´t made new ones. Maybe they both agree to destroy that Universes because there were to many universes so the other Omni-King (that creates) asked Zeno to destroy them and well maybe Zeno being in a bad mood was just an excuse given to Whis to why he destroyed that universes. But well, that's just my theory,

They jumped the shark. This show was so amazing to me as a kid. The whole beginning of being a saiyan and fighting piccolo and vegita, frieza and even onto cell and maybe a little bit of buu. Naturally things had to progress but now it's gone into some whole other thing entirely.

But that aside, most of the gods in DB couldn't do anything anyway. They've always been too weak. 3/4 times, it's the humans that saved them, or did their job.

What if he is just the highest god from each timeline and not all of reality? However, in his defense, Beerus and Whis have shown a bit of emotionlessness about events of the universe, as Gods consider it part of a natural cycle. However, after Zamasu Black killed every Supreme Kai, which in turn killed every God of destruction, and made all the Angels go dormant, the fact that Omni King didnt even notice is a bit...weird. Literally, when he came to Trunks earth, Zamasu had evolved into a universal entity and Zeno still had no idea what was going on.

The guards are likely there to protect Zeno as he’s not a fighter. It’s likely someone could easily catch him off guard and attack him before he can wipe them out, as he likely can’t fight back. The guards ensure nobody touches him, they make up for his lack of combat skills.
i want this to take an abruptly dark turn. after the tournament, the 4 existing universes are split into two groups, zeno vs zeno, all the universes are brought to their knees, near destruction, and the zenos destroy each other, the 4 broken universes are broken and godless. and then the series ends on a sad note.
I have one theory about how universes are born. They actually flat out tell you in Xenoverse 2 that they come from Toki Toki's eggs. The reason this is only a theory is because the video games have no canon on the anime. However, with major characters being created like the Supreme Kai of Time and they answer big questions, that's all we have to go off of. I like to think that the Xenoverse original characters are canon. I mean if they are they'd most likely never show up in the anime anyways since every time they go to a timeline they fix it to the original from the anime.

Here is my take on Zeno. First Toriyama and the team made him childlike as he is 'young", well in terms of how beings like him are dated. He is not the all powerful, and there are more powerful beings, of his kind, like his parents(or similar.) The tall guards who hold his hand also answer to his higher ups but have been ordered to stand by his side, just as other guards do for princes. Whis and Vados father is there to lend advice when necessary and of course to update his real masters, but is not more powerful than his charge, as are his offspring. In all, not all deities are aware of the larger picture and stop at Zeno. My main reasoning is that the Dragonball Universe has never been capped in such a way before, and why would they now ..

well that's more of a position for the lower ones. So piccolo is not a god. He does have some residual knowledge/effects from his previous time in that job via absorbing kami. Same for Goku, he's still a mortal... NINGEN! The higher gods seem sort of hereditary, or within a small group(like nobility/aristocracy/oligarchy). But it seems god of destruction might be a status, but goku would definitely turn that down.
The Omni King is royalty (duh) which is why everyone is so surprised with Goku's blatant disregard for the hierarchy. What strikes me as odd is that the Omni King is definitely a child, which is why Goku brings his Future counterpart back so the royal children would always have a playmate.. But the guards almost seem like they're appointed by a parent. On another note! I find something mildly off about the Father of Whis and Vanos. They're all forbidden to interfere or take sides, but we can see both Whis and Vanos in fact encourage both their respective God's of Destruction into gambling their entire universes, knowing full well that even if the universes were to cease existing, neither would worry much about it.. Thus more, they actively seek out teammates for both tournaments. Almost like they're just gambling idly with play things. If these two are so meddling, imagine what their father might be capable of, as Zen-Oh's angel, no less! Some very thick plots in the Realm of Gods to be explored. As far as the Core People, the Kais of Universe 10 are more than likely all that remain. Only those born from the golden fruit may become Supreme Kai (with very few exceptions, Zamasu more than likely being one of them.) Those born of the golden fruit also live sometimes several million years, as those from normal fruit live less than 100,000 years on average. Zamasu and his master are more than likely born of normal fruit, based on how old his master is and how urgent he makes it to train such a young pupil so late in his life.
Geekdom! I have some questions regarding the Gods that I may just be ignorant to the lore. I was trying to make a hierarchy of the gods and top mortals from xeno down to the top mortals from each universe and found I had these questions: First, Why do the supreme kai's (East, West, North, South), the Grand Supreme kai, the Grand Kai, and the kai's (East, West, North, South) not have names? This is especially confusing when you factor in the other universes have to have names of "Universe 6 Supreme Kai" which is not even his name as I imagine he is "Universe 6 Supreme (pick a direction) Kai". Making it even more ridiculous is that the supreme kai (pick a direction) of universe 10 has a name Gowasu. Second, Why didn't more of universe 6 supreme kai's come to the tournament? only one of the 5 cared? why not the Grand supreme kai? (I realize you won't have an answer for this but it would be fun to know your opinion) Third, If the Supreme East Kai as we know him is in charge of his portion of the underworld and Living world does that mean Beerus does the same? and for that matter why is he linked to the supreme east kai and not the grand supreme kai? Fourth, why is Beerus for that matter linked to the supreme east kai and not the grand supreme kai? ie. Why isn't Beerus dead? Fifth, This is probably speculation on my part but if there are 12 universes with their subsequent 12 underworlds does that mean that there are 12 universes of demon realms? Sixth and finally, Is Zeno's realm outside of the 12 universes? or is it in one of them? If its outside of them wouldn't it be a 13th mini universe?
i have a question that i haven't heard discussed yet. since the gods of destruction will be erased too, will they get to fight in the tournament too? it seems odd that the fate of gods depends on a mortal tournament.

How do we know that each planet doesn't have a god? Given the number of changes to what happend to Vegeta the idea that Vegeta's Kami used his power to influence Frieza into nuking the planet would be less radical than say potaras are only for an hour.

I'm under the impression that the Grand Kai and the Kais under him are in-charge of quadrants of the galaxy not the universe. This allows for a larger number of gods without overlapping roles. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I got this idea from a DBZ fanfic 'The Bringer of Death'. If you have read it, they have a very clever way of explaining the growth of the Sayans without using the x50 multiplier. I would love to hear your opinion on it.

You are wrong, the angels are just merely assistants to the Gods of Destruction which Whiz had informed in the anime subbed, and in a few scenes further illustrated that info which showed Beerus offended when Goku gave his respect to Whiz before addressing to Beerus, or got pissed with Whiz for going to Earth without informing him while he asleep...the angels are not there to watch over the Gods of Destruction but rather to wait on them.

I'd like to say that the Omni-Kings guards aren't protecting him per se, but protecting the Universes by keeping away things that would annoy him, like maybe Xeno-sama would get mad if somebody would shake his hand, the guards would stop said person from doing so just in case he might get annoyed.

I believe there might be even higher ranking of the Gods higher than Onmi King, Why? Because Whis and the Onmi King referred all the Universes "This World". Meaning there might be other "Worlds" out there with there own set's of Universes and an Omni King. It's just a thought.

Or maybe they let evolution run its course by dumping life goo on planets they create and seeing how it turns out. We know that they're constantly watching over the mortals, so seeing their progress as they evolve seems like a good way of doing that. Their long lifespans would allow them to see entire species rise and fall.

I think the guards are to keep zeno's mind safe going to desytroy the universe's. Once zeno gone in mad and already destroyed 4 universe. Zeno sems to be a kid but he isn't like that. What is the main identity of zeno?Who is his parents?
Zeno hasn’t been confirmed to have combat skills. Just powers beyond any being.

Great video. Wild (and most likely not correct) thought regarding Zeno, but what if he goes through stages of life like everything else but then when he gets old and "dies", he just resets into being an infant? He loses all memory (or maybe retains some understanding of who he is?) and it's then the Daishinkan's job to raise him from there. It's a never ending cycle that would probably explain Zeno's current mindset. He's still a kid in his current cycle.
Hell, let's go one step further and say that maybe Daishinkan is the true strongest of the universe, including Zeno. Much like what Whis is to Beerus, he can prevent Zeno from doing something he shouldn't... should it become necessary. Although then that would beg the question, why would he allow Zeno to destroy a third of the total universes? Only explanation would be that he felt they needed to be destroyed - or maybe he'd only ever intervene if all universes were threatened.
But... I have a hard time believing myself that it was all thought out like that. All head-cannon theory stuff of course, but maybe it will serve as a catapult into finding out the truth/explaining things (besides waiting for it to be explained, if it ever is).
It doesn´t look like Zeno can create Universes. I created 1 theory (I don´t think that it is true xd maybe it's kind stupid). Well, as we seen Zeno cares a lot more about the Gods of Destruction than the Kaioshins, when Kaioshins were being killed by Majin Buu Zeno didn´t even care but when Beerus and Champa did a tournament he showed up. I see Zeno like the Ultimate God of Destruction because he seems like just a thing that was created with a super power to destroy. He is like the one that rules over the God of Destruction and that makes him the Highest God Of Destruction there is. Another thing, we know that the High Priest works for Zeno and is Whis father but what about his mother? We know that there are female angels (Vados) so Whis must have a mother. My theory is that maybe there is like another Omni-King but not to destroy but to create, that created the universes and Whis mother works for that Omni-King that is the Ultimate Kaioshin that rules over the Kaioshin. 1 thing that contradicts this theory is the fact that after Zeno destroyed the 6 Universes the other Omni-King that creates universes didn´t made new ones. Maybe they both agree to destroy that Universes because there were to many universes so the other Omni-King (that creates) asked Zeno to destroy them and well maybe Zeno being in a bad mood was just an excuse given to Whis to why he destroyed that universes. But well, that's just my theory,

They jumped the shark. This show was so amazing to me as a kid. The whole beginning of being a saiyan and fighting piccolo and vegita, frieza and even onto cell and maybe a little bit of buu. Naturally things had to progress but now it's gone into some whole other thing entirely.
Just my opinion though, I know people love it and I respect that.
DBS must keep the gods from truly intervening in fixing main conflicts. Deus Ex Machina events eliminate any sense of tension.

it didn't resolve the negative affects. And it was a character previously introduced. Though it's funny that the god did come from a machine. But that aside, most of the gods in DB couldn't do anything anyway. They've always been too weak. 3/4 times, it's the humans that saved them, or did their job.
Zeno's guards seem much more like servants/personal butlers rather than bodyguards/guards, and the grand priest is like an assistant/secretary
I want to ask, what if Zeno is NOT the highest being? I know hes multiversal but the fact that there are other versions from other timelines seems weird to me.
What if he is just the highest god from each timeline and not all of reality?

Thanks, also, Zeno seems entirely too inattentive to crucial universal events to be all powerful.
However, in his defense, Beerus and Whis have shown a bit of emotionlessness about events of the universe, as Gods consider it part of a natural cycle.
However, after Zamasu Black killed every Supreme Kai, which in turn killed every God of destruction, and made all the Angels go dormant, the fact that Omni King didnt even notice is a bit...weird.
Literally, when he came to Trunks earth, Zamasu had evolved into a universal entity and Zeno still had no idea what was going on.

The guards are likely there to protect Zeno as he’s not a fighter. It’s likely someone could easily catch him off guard and attack him before he can wipe them out, as he likely can’t fight back. The guards ensure nobody touches him, they make up for his lack of combat skills.

I have one theory about how universes are born. They actually flat out tell you in Xenoverse 2 that they come from Toki Toki's eggs. The reason this is only a theory is because the video games have no canon on the anime. However, with major characters being created like the Supreme Kai of Time and they answer big questions, that's all we have to go off of. I like to think that the Xenoverse original characters are canon. I mean if they are they'd most likely never show up in the anime anyways since every time they go to a timeline they fix it to the original from the anime.

Here is my take on Zeno. First Toriyama and the team made him childlike as he is 'young", well in terms of how beings like him are dated. He is not the all powerful, and there are more powerful beings, of his kind, like his parents(or similar.) The tall guards who hold his hand also answer to his higher ups but have been ordered to stand by his side, just as other guards do for princes. Whis and Vados father is there to lend advice when necessary and of course to update his real masters, but is not more powerful than his charge, as are his offspring. In all, not all deities are aware of the larger picture and stop at Zeno. My main reasoning is that the Dragonball Universe has never been capped in such a way before, and why would they now ..
Do you guys think 2 Zeno-oh's will be a plotpoint? Like since nothing is able to Overpower him if they get in an argument, what would happen? Maybe a play for the throne if they cancel each other out. Maybe last arc type stuff.

well that's more of a position for the lower ones. So piccolo is not a god. He does have some residual knowledge/effects from his previous time in that job via absorbing kami. Same for Goku, he's still a mortal... NINGEN! The higher gods seem sort of hereditary, or within a small group(like nobility/aristocracy/oligarchy). But it seems god of destruction might be a status, but goku would definitely turn that down.

The Omni King is royalty (duh) which is why everyone is so surprised with Goku's blatant disregard for the hierarchy. What strikes me as odd is that the Omni King is definitely a child, which is why Goku brings his Future counterpart back so the royal children would always have a playmate.. But the guards almost seem like they're appointed by a parent. On another note! I find something mildly off about the Father of Whis and Vanos. They're all forbidden to interfere or take sides, but we can see both Whis and Vanos in fact encourage both their respective God's of Destruction into gambling their entire universes, knowing full well that even if the universes were to cease existing, neither would worry much about it.. Thus more, they actively seek out teammates for both tournaments. Almost like they're just gambling idly with play things. If these two are so meddling, imagine what their father might be capable of, as Zen-Oh's angel, no less! Some very thick plots in the Realm of Gods to be explored. As far as the Core People, the Kais of Universe 10 are more than likely all that remain. Only those born from the golden fruit may become Supreme Kai (with very few exceptions, Zamasu more than likely being one of them.) Those born of the golden fruit also live sometimes several million years, as those from normal fruit live less than 100,000 years on average. Zamasu and his master are more than likely born of normal fruit, based on how old his master is and how urgent he makes it to train such a young pupil so late in his life.

I read the title "The Gods of Dragon Ball; Super Explained"
Geekdom! I have some questions regarding the Gods that I may just be ignorant to the lore. I was trying to make a hierarchy of the gods and top mortals from xeno down to the top mortals from each universe and found I had these questions:
First, Why do the supreme kai's (East, West, North, South), the Grand Supreme kai, the Grand Kai, and the kai's (East, West, North, South) not have names? This is especially confusing when you factor in the other universes have to have names of "Universe 6 Supreme Kai" which is not even his name as I imagine he is "Universe 6 Supreme (pick a direction) Kai". Making it even more ridiculous is that the supreme kai (pick a direction) of universe 10 has a name Gowasu.
Second, Why didn't more of universe 6 supreme kai's come to the tournament? only one of the 5 cared? why not the Grand supreme kai? (I realize you won't have an answer for this but it would be fun to know your opinion)
Third, If the Supreme East Kai as we know him is in charge of his portion of the underworld and Living world does that mean Beerus does the same? and for that matter why is he linked to the supreme east kai and not the grand supreme kai?
Fourth, why is Beerus for that matter linked to the supreme east kai and not the grand supreme kai? ie. Why isn't Beerus dead?
Fifth, This is probably speculation on my part but if there are 12 universes with their subsequent 12 underworlds does that mean that there are 12 universes of demon realms?
Sixth and finally, Is Zeno's realm outside of the 12 universes? or is it in one of them? If its outside of them wouldn't it be a 13th mini universe?

i have a question that i haven't heard discussed yet. since the gods of destruction will be erased too, will they get to fight in the tournament too? it seems odd that the fate of gods depends on a mortal tournament.

I think it'd make sense for all the Angels overseeing the Gods of Destruction to be the Grand Priest's children.
How do we know that each planet doesn't have a god? Given the number of changes to what happend to Vegeta the idea that Vegeta's Kami used his power to influence Frieza into nuking the planet would be less radical than say potaras are only for an hour.

I'm under the impression that the Grand Kai and the Kais under him are in-charge of quadrants of the galaxy not the universe. This allows for a larger number of gods without overlapping roles. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I got this idea from a DBZ fanfic 'The Bringer of Death'.

I've never made a theory like this...but maybe...just MAYBE the Omni King split into 3 beings and the "guards" are just Omni King's more serious sides and that's why the Omni King in Trunks's timeline seems more serious. I'm sorry if that sounds ridiculous...
You are wrong, the angels are just merely assistants to the Gods of Destruction which Whiz had informed in the anime subbed, and in a few scenes further illustrated that info which showed Beerus offended when Goku gave his respect to Whiz before addressing to Beerus, or got pissed with Whiz for going to Earth without informing him while he asleep...the angels are not there to watch over the Gods of Destruction but rather to wait on them.

Question Geekdom, If the Omni King wiped out 6 universes, WHAT happened to the other Omni Kings in the other Universes, do they get wiped out? unless there was only 1 Omni King and when the DBZ fighters went to the future it was his future self.
I think the guards are there so they handle situations so that Zeno doesnt have to do anything and doesn’t get annoyed which could lead to massive damage
