i had a friend throughout this year named joshua but i called him josh. we met in february and were friends up until july/august. when we met i didn’t really like him because he was very first intimidating and always gave me a rude look, he also never bothered talking to me. we shared a few mutual friends and our friend groups eventually collided or merged. whenever we hung out with our friends we stayed as far as we could from eachother just because we both had very different vibes and weren’t 2 people you think would be friends. as time passed we started talking not just with friends but even in school because we had 6 classes together. we were juniors this year btw. there were a few classes that year where we sat near eachother so once we started talking we took that advantage. i think the main reason we finally decided to talk to eachother was because we accepted that we would have to be friends because he were generally around eachother so much. as i said before we were totally different people but once the two of us got to know one another we actually had so much in common and we had very similar interests and experiences through our lives. in the classes where we didn’t sit that close too eachother in, he made his way as close to my seat as possible. we connected very well and became super close super fast. i think it’s safe to say that i could have called him my best friend throughout april-june. he and i always had something to talk about and most of the time it was something stupid that made me laugh historically. his sense of humor was just insane, like he always knew how to make someone laugh and he genuinely had a funny way of seeing everything. i definitely realized throughout our friendship that i was started to think of him as more than just my best friend, i knew i was falling in love with him but i was never ever going to say anything about it to him because i couldn’t and wouldn’t ruin something i never had with anyone else. in early june he introduced me to a friend he had who we called T. T was very clingy to him and wasn’t always the nicest to me but i liked her, she was fun and crazy. I was never under the impression that she liked me st all though. after she met me she was seriously doing everything with josh and was nearly always with him or by his side. of course it bothered me because i never got to spend time with him in my own and i was jealous of her. josh eventually got pretty distant with all of our friends and then he got distant with me. In the last week or so of june be and T announced that they were dating, I was very supportive of it all but of course I didn’t want to speak out loud about how i actually felt about the whole thing. josh and i pretty much faded away during that whole process mainly because of T. I’m not sure i would even call us friends anymore because we haven’t talked seriously in 3 months. I’ll give him the time he needs though. this school year we only have 2 classes together but in both T seats just near him. honestly, i can see how unhappy he looks around her, hes looked at me and i’ve seen how uncomfortable and forced their relationship is. everyday i think about the old him and miss him endlessly. may update this but thanks for reading, let me know about what you guys think on this situation.
Look I understand and I’ve actually been in common situations.I think you should tell about your feelings to him like asap. Maybe he needs it maybe he feels the same maybe you’ll help to get out of the relationship he doesn’t deserve. Don’t be afraid cuz look up world is hella big nobody cares we live once and you deserve to be happy. And even if he does not reciprocate, don’t be upset don’t waste your time on depression etc you deserve the best if he doesn’t feel the same he’s not your person❤
@@marrr.31 thank you so much! way before T he was typically flirty and was super close with me so i got mixed signals on whether he felt the same way with me. lately i have been contemplating if i reach out to a friend and see if we can talks things out about everything because as i said ive seen the sadness in his eyes. there has even been times when i was with my friends and i could see him starting to head my way but i was never able to talk to him. i’ll see how things go and see if we can work things out!

I feel like no matter what I try to do in my life, I can never be a person that I learn to love. I have no personality. My personality changes everywhere I go and I feel like I am too much of a people pleaser to even think about doing something that would make me unique. I have nothing going for me. I have no future in my head. I can’t imagine myself doing anything worth living and working for. I’m just so confused what I am supposed to do with my life. Seeing the people around me thrive in social settings and have an actual human connection makes me so sad and devastated because I just know that even if I tried I could never be someone that is truly cared about, even by myself. Everyone talks about having someone and losing them, but I have never in my life had someone in my life to loose. No matter what I always end up alone. My friendships slip away, I ruin family relationships, strangers don’t even want to look at me. I just look so miserable all of the time and I can’t help it. I wish I could experience even a little bit of true happiness. Even having someone that I will eventually lose is special to me. I can never truly make a connection with someone because I don’t even know who I am, I feel like a stranger to myself. Even if I have someone for even the tiniest bit of time, I spend it trying to make them happy for as long as I can until I tell myself that they hate me or think of me negatively, as I also overthink everything.
Well that’s how my life has always gone.

Hey everyone goes through this atleast once in their life ..even the best of us goes through this ...as you said grow hobbies Start doing simple chores like making your bed ,having good food and the other essential . Start caring for your skin ,learn new skills and then when you are all done you will feel overwhelmed but with a sense of happiness and fulfilment and realise how much capable u are .and then again start the process ... Lovin and Caring for others starts with yourself the reason you feel like you don't know yourself is because you don't have any work , or things to aspire for , things you can see and say proudly yes I did it and it felt good , you would start feeling proud of yourself and gradually things will change your outlook on yourself and others will change .
This is what life is keep yourself busy with productive things and then loosey relax with sleeping , painting ,or the new skill you found loving .
And please don't go for any step out of desperation or loneliness it will worsen the situation ...hope you the best...life is cruel but still you can make it wonderful ..you have to ..it is your once a chance.
@@sanaashaikh02 absolutely.. because you know it doesn't hurt to research and learn about new perspectives in life. chances are you'll find yourself and a purpose! we weren't given the ability to look into peoples thoughts and know their perspective of us, the curtain between us and others thoughts is there for a reason by Allah.. you'll learn and accept that it doesn't matter what others think. i also feel that finding yourself is a journey and i sincerely hope that by the time you reach its end, you find your peace too. we muslims believe as long as theres life allah will lead us somewhere we're meant to be. when theres uncertainty theres always the certainty of islam
