As long as it starts and runs i wouldnt trip. Maybe a relay involved as well not sure.

You're not going to want to put oil in it if you're trying to do a leak down test cuz that's going to give it more compression
I assume you mean compression test. And it might make the # higher but it will also help to not score your cylinders on a bike thats been sitting. Your choice.

For those bad case half's put some oven cleaning spray on there I have done it on my machine I mud ride works good 👍
They all cleaned up now. Tried oven cleaner. This red dirt wasnt coming off. Tried mutliple times. Seals and gaskets will suffer if i continued to try it

Man try soaking it down with easy off oven cleaner let set for like 30 min the pressure wash
Nothing worked. Tried easy off. Tried awesome tried power purple. Tried compressed air and 3200 psi pressure washer. That fkin mud was baked on and had to be brushed off

Yep and i prefer yamaha stock internals vs wiseco or factory. It was air tight and had good compression. To do it right it woild. Throw another 1600 at engine. Why not right. Why stop at top end. Might as well do seals and bearings too. Thanks for your concern. A yamaha sealed and tight motor aint something u fk w

@@TimeMachinesATVs lol @ at $1600 2-stroke motor I"m just talking about getting new pistons and some bearings and gaskets . when i was in my teen years in 80's and 20's in 90's most my friends and me would rebuild are 250r 4trax and banshee every winter even if motor didn't need it you know refreshing up the motor . it really don't cost that much rebuild a 2-stroke compare to a 4-stroke motor and it really easy rebuilding a 2-stroke motor to . same with snowmobiles motors . and I'm just asking a simple question and you come back with a smart ass comment maybe TH-cam isn't for you just saying
