I wondered how a cat's eye marble was made, this answered that question. In twenty minutes I realized I know nothing about the art of shaping glass, and time flies when you're engaged with a good video.
Cool, thanks👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼always wonders how that twisty bit in there, now I’m wondering what machines are used to make them on mass!? Who doesn’t love a marble. I’ll bet you have a beautiful collection 👍🏼
I’m so sorry I just saw this question, I would suggest a Paragon kiln, they are awesome! Though if your not sure you are going to stick with Lampwork then maybe go with a JenKen top loader since you only want to do marbles.

Love your marble technique! Easy to follow. Great instructions!! What kind of torch do you use?
Awe, thank you Shelly! I have a Carslile Hellcat torch.

Where is the finished marble?
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Can you recommend a good kiln for a beginner? I’m making only marbles.

What type of oxygen system are you on? Just a regular cylinder?
What marble mold is that? from what seller maybe?
Hi Jacob. I’m sorry, I have no idea, another studio buy out acquisition. I looked at the marble mold to see if it had any makers mark and it doesn’t.
This is rly soft glass and not boro?
Yep totally soft glass. But it truly is even easier to make marbles with boro.
