Hi, My name is Daisy. I am from New Zealand. I have been an avid fan of the Fat quarter shop live streams for many years. However, one thing that often grates with me is Kimberley's comments about working with colours that she does not like. Personally I love green and I love working with solids. It would be great if you guys could do a series about quilts and/or quilters who enjoy working with colours other than aqua and pink. Perhaps having guest quilters on who can show and/or demonstrate the amazing results you can achieve with for example, shades of brown, with complementary colours. Thank you for your great work
Love lawn...have not watched Bridgerton. I keep meaning to but never get around to it. May have to get some and make a blouse bc it is beautiful. Hope my husband and dogs enjoy the look . I am retiring at the end of September so I won't have any co-workers to show my clothes to.
Kimberly! All your other blocks in the Kona sew along are so pretty - Wait until all the blocks are done and see if the June block still looks strange - if it does - I would seriously consider doing something about it!
I sent a note to Sherri McConnell during the Live stream asking about Strawberry Lemonade being reprinted and she wrote back to say she was told on Monday of this week while she was in Dallas at Moda Headquarters for an event. I told her we were all very excited for her & Chelsi! She's happy & excited too!!
The Bridgerton fabric you showed today. I understand that it’s very thin but can it at all be used for making a quilt or maybe a lightweight blanket? It’s beautiful fabric 🩵
Love your videos! The only suggestion I have is could you comment on what how the colors look (for instance, when there's a pink fabric, is it blush pink, baby pink, etc) and what other designers would it match (like does it match with Minick's pinks or Lella's pinks etc). Helpful to know bc my local quilt shop doesn't carry Moda so I'm not sure if it wld match my existing fabrics. Thanks so much!
I can never get up early enough for the live streams, but I do enjoy the replay. So much beautiful fabric! So many projects I want to make! Your videos really keep me motivated to sew! ❤❤
Thank you for all you do for us. I LOVE your blue Kona Block. The slight changes you made were stunning. I think it was the May block. I haven't wanted to do those until now. Going to visit Robert Kaufman site!
I love the Amelia fabric. I would use Sherri McConell’s Pot Luck pattern for this, which is actually designed for layer cakes. No cutting up the squares so beautiful large scale prints can be showcased.
Fun livestream! I was planning to make my annual donation soon anyway but this is a very cool prize. Hurried over to the Make a Wish Link and got it done. Am also excited for the nightly livestream - I usually have to watch later because of work but night time is watchable live.
I know this is being picky but I hate when they are folded so small! I like the half folds that are easier to iron. Lots of beautiful fabrics and patterns, the vintage one reminds me of Kansas Troubles
I have had a real hard time trying to use the papers suggested. I think the symbols might be wrong, or it’s me. I really found working on the two different blocks with all the pieces mixed together very confusing.
Thank you Kimberly and FQS team for all of your hard work. I really appreciate these live streams. They are always informative and fun! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Hugs from Minnesota.❤️
I love the Peter Rabbit fabric! I used Peter Rabbit fabric for my children, who are now in their twenties. Baby blue walls with white/rabbit print curtains and flannel quilts, sheets, blankets all made by my mother.
I love the Sewline air erasing marker. I use it to mark lines for hand embroidery. In my house, it disappears quickly - sometimes in 10 minutes or less - so it’s great for planning right on my project and marking immediately before I stitch a small area.
As a newer quilter I have watched and rewatched your sewing videos, when you walk through with tips on how you do things. Yes, I could probably go back and watch one from 5 years ago, but who is to say a newer product or easier way of doing things hasn’t been developed. I love being able to buy the exact items you are using. So thank you for everything you do! Your time and effort is not wasted. This is how the next generation of quilters is going to learn. We want to shop online and learn online. ❤
I have had both fun and frustration with the Kona blocks. I try to make it work with the charms, but have had to order larger pieces for some months. I also did buy white yardage for the background . I’m really excited for next year, if the patterns are written for charms. I like quilting with solids! Thanks!
Beautiful fabrics. Love the two Moonbeams blocks…different and interesting! Thank you for everything, Kimberly!

What was she told this week? You didn’t finish your sentence. Is it being reprinted?
….. and? Sherri was told…?
The Strawberry Lemonade collection is being reprinted with the exception of the Navy background.
I love Bridgerton!

Hello Paula! Yes, it could be used for a quilt.
Yes sew it. Can you buy just that block pattern?.
Hello Betty! The block pattern is free we just ask that you donate to Make-A-Wish. bit.ly/4bFXKGR
Kimberly, I like your weird green block.
Sew the blocks together

Wow, it speaks volumes about Kimberly's commitment to Make-a-Wish, when she raffles her time to a viewer. Good luck to all!

Bridgerton, ugh, IMO Silly and inane. I sure like the Bridgerton fabric, though!

Thanks Kimberly and FQS team! Always a great stream!
The funky Kona block would make a beautiful scrappy quilt!
Just donated. Hope it's not too late.
Can I purchase more of Moonbeams background fabric….I have kit, but have madd. some cutting mistakes😝🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Hello Pat! Yes, it is available here www.fatquartershop.com/strawberry-lemonade-navy-daisy-dots-yardage
Thanks for all the info.
Sew everything please

Could you do a sew a long with the line Amelia
Hello Bella! We do not have one planned but we can consider it.
I love the Peter Rabbit fabric! I used Peter Rabbit fabric for my children, who are now in their twenties. Baby blue walls with white/rabbit print curtains and flannel quilts, sheets, blankets all made by my mother.

Another great video, Kimberley. Thank you. I love it when you show the blocks using different designers. And I love seeing the new stuff in the shop.

Can't wait to make my ghost, couldn't get my computer to print so I still have to get my fabrics together

Great video.
Not necessary to sew.
