I started out as a roller man. A coon killed all my rollers so I transitioned to homers. He's loved pigeons since he was 5 years old. I got some stories coming up I'll post this weekend from him.
Thanks Jack. He’s chock full of good ideas. He came up with pigeons in a time when club members wouldn’t teach the new guys anything. So he & Rick Mardis would travel to clubs outside their area to learn. The old guys in our club keep no secrets. “The hobby is dying & we need everyone we can get & we need them to have some success and stick with it” is the general consensus.

The club bought all of his birds except for about 4. Those went to a friend of his. I have 4 from him. 3 off of his old bird team and 1 breeder.

Thanks Jose. Unfortunately he passed away last month. They are imported from Germany is as much as I know about them.
@@jasonjordan9101 thank you for the info , do you know is the family wants to sell the loft or cages ?
@@josechoy8456 where are you located? I can find out
@@jasonjordan9101 Long Beach California
@@josechoy8456 His loft is in East Texas about 2 hours east of Dallas. It would probably be cheaper to build new than to try & buy it.
Is that a purple martin house there on a pole?
I know they help keep away hawks.
It is. Got another pigeon buddy who has several. They give you whiplash on race day thinking a pigeon is home 🙂
Does anyone have a link to the widowhood boxes he has and the conveyor system he uses? Brilliant!
They’re made overseas. Hermes Accessories For Pigeons builds them.
@@jasonjordan9101 thank you and great video.
