It's definitely a common sentiment among many Ford enthusiasts. Improving dependability and longevity would surely make the EcoBoost engines even more appealing!
I have been a Ford driver all my life. I am however disappointed in their reliability issues. Their track record on engines is horrible. The 5.4 triton, junk. The 6.0 and 6.4 diesel engines were junk, and 3.5 liter engines with the water pump inside the engine, terrible idea. 3.5 ecoboost engine is a basket case. Intakes plugging up, timing chains and VVT gear failures, coolant lines to turbos leaking. I think they have most of the bugs out of the engine now but, for those of us they have the older engines are suffering. Come on guys you can do better.

You're absolutely right! Wet cam belts can lead to a lot of issues, so it's definitely wise to be cautious.
Well nothing new here. It doesn't shake anybody
The Predator V8 is an absolute beast-Ford nailed it with this powerhouse! 🔥💪
Absolutely! The Predator V8 is a game changer, and it really shows Ford's commitment to performance!
That Predator would fit nice in my 3000 pound 84 Thunderbird. Imagine running high 9's?
That would be an absolute monster of a car! 😈
If only ford could or would build dependability and longevity into their ecoboost engines

It's definitely a valid concern, and we hear you loud and clear! Ford is definitely aware of the reliability issues and working to improve them.
IF SO WHY DO SO MANY ECOBOOST ENGINES FAIL
improper oiling of the turbo, turbos need their own oiling system.
