    Hi From Ukraine! A little about scangrip lights, temperature regulator in Detailing is cool thing!!! Thats why: on light colors like white or grey, much easy to find scratches with warm light! On dark colors like Black - cold light is better. Just try it and you see the differense. For example, for me is so hard to polish grey cars without warm light) (sorry for my english!)

    Hi Josh 🖐, I really enjoyed this video 👍👍. I am just a DIY’er, and I have always looked after my vehicles as good as I knew how to, but in the last couple years I have discovered the world of impressive auto detailing and I have taken my game from good to striving for the ‘best’. Thanks to TH-cam and the Detailing Channel I have watched hundreds of hours of detailing videos and yours is one of a handful that I always come back to!! I have picked up a few good tips from you, especially from this video as I have been thinking about lighting and you really demonstrated the importance and benefits of quality lighting. THANKS for your efforts!! 🍺🍺

    Thanks for the content. Should you make the choice again. Would you think that 1x Multimatch 8 connect would be a better set up than 2x Multimatch 3 connect or even 1x Multimatch 3 connect for the car detailing. It looks that the both lights have power, so it may be down to the modularity each can offer.

    Has anyone had success with these flashlight type swirl detectors on Pearl White paint? Everything I use just reflects back in my face. Tried pitch black in my garage - nothing. Going to park in front of a street light next to see what shows up. My car, so I'm really just looking to see if I Need to spend any extra time on area while applying AIO outside.

    A detailing lamp that is very good and not expensive, it is the "shark dragon LED Work Light W832", Made in China but very well made! 40w cob 3800lms.
    Fashion low light and high, there are not as many settings where different temperature, a Meguiar's MT103 for example, but for the beginner whose money is important, the W832 is excellent and robust with its housing metal, rubber protection, can be used as charger for smartphones, powerful magnet.

    Hey Josh so to clarify are you using the M210 to do paint enhancement? I’m trying to doing paint correction on a black Cadillac CTS would you recommend the m110 to cut or the Da ultimate compound because I want to use the meguiars microfiber pad since I used the buff and shine uro with the 3D all in one and I didn’t receive the look I’m looking for.

    Weird question, how would one go about correction and polishing around the hard to reach areas like inside door handles?

    • @as680783
      @as680783 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not even a nanopolisher can access handle recesses properly, so most detailers simply finger polish under door handles. That's pretty much what I do. If you've got a lot of crap and scratches under the handles then a couple of light passes with a magic eraser will correct a lot before going in with a refining polish or glaze.

    If the budget light can deliver the same light effect as scangrip. I cannot think of any reason to buy scangrip. I will not spend almost a double just for the frame material. They both have magnet on bottoms.

    I have the hardest time with white paint. Seems like no matter what light I use I still can’t see the defects well. I’ve seen people turn all lights off and use just one work light. Thoughts ?

    I put a microfiber towel between magnets and my car. But yeah no metal to metal contact on my paint. Magnetize at owners discretion.
