Tess with hands down the best run in women's slopestyle history. Respect for progressing the sport, she could have dialed it down and still won.

Compared to Mens slopestyle… this looks like Amateurs doing tricks

The women have progressed Allot the past few years, And it's a fun event to watch.
I would say that your comment is kinda rude.

@@GabiGulost i guess, but still i think its a worlds difference between mens and womens slopestyle, and coming from the 2024 slopestyle event to watching this, this feels kinda lame.

And on the mens comments everyone complains that only spins are rewarded, and someone got robbed, and the girls suck etc etc. like come on, it's just more X games, which rules.@@dioritbajrami8283

No one is forcing you to watch their events. I am a man and of course I can recognize that the men are leaps and bounds ahead of the ladies in certain areas but they also weigh more, have more strength and power, and many have been pushing the limits for longer. Like the other commenter said, the women have progressed a LOT over the last 3-6 years or so. Personally, I always was a fan of the women’s events even if they’re less insane in terms of tricks or air. Seeing them progress is a blessing since many male events both winter and summer have essentially hit a plateau.
Want to see women compete at a level much closer to the men’s level? Check out the summer X Games women’s street skateboarding last year I think it was that anyway, not sure ladies had a real street comp. I was blown away, one girl did something harder than almost any male did in the men’s competition on the same course. These young ladies are catching up! Give them the credit they deserve. They can’t get past the biological differences that separate us (again, mainly just strength and weight) but they can and do push the boundaries of their sports and it’s wonderful to see I root for them hard!

One event I will say was noticeably less entertaining for me this winter X was women’s snowboard superpipe (haven’t seen ski yet). Chloe Kim was unbelievable and the one I believe placed second was also really good but everyone else seemed to lose a ton of speed in the flat bottom. But clearly if two ladies could manage huge air on each wall the rest can learn. Not like I will stop watching, I love action sports and I love progression
