I only met him a couple of times but I remember how much passion he showed for that area of the Ments and his core set up at Thunders. He had some epic stories too. I'm sure him and all his family and friends are in a lot of people's thoughts right now.

I didn't realize the water EVER got cold enough for a wetsuit.
@@user-ny2bx8ez1c its very rarely does. Last year went down to 22°c after 6 months of SE wind. Lots of guys were in spring suits. This isnr a wetsuit though. Its one of them hooded rashvests. Good for the long days in the sun. Thanks for watching the video 🤟🤟🤟

Hello Mike, thanks for watching the video. We stayed with Eric at the Southern Mentawai Outpost. The link to their website is up in the description. Most the clips are from the wave in front of the resort. Good spot especially in shoulder / offseason when it's not so busy.

Unfortunately there was no one around to film. Didn't see a single person the whole time I was there. Actually Maccas resort did pull up one day but they didn't hang around long. Eric the owner of the resort while I wasn't filming. Thanks for watching the Video. HNY 🤙🤙
