The humility and wisdom is amazing. As a Christian woman, this is extremely encouraging to see seasoned pastors willing to encourage the younger generation. Thank you to my uncle’s in the faith.❤️🙏🏾

18 years into Pastoral ministry… LCMS. Convinced that we have much more in common with Bible believing Baptists and Reformed than non Bible believing Lutherans. Listening to these three makes me even more convinced.

2 books I highly recommend for those going into ministry, both by John MacArthur. Remaining Faithful In Ministry. It’s a short read and probably should be read once a month. The Masters Plan For His Church, is the other book.

This could have been a learning tool, too bad one pastor from Kentucky monopolized the panel.

If you’re a pastor it sounds like you should take a break and spend some time in the Bible.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as they soul prospereth.
I have been following Pastor Begg for quite some time.
I am guessing you do not know how many missionaries he backs financially through his own service to the Lord. They are in what is considered some very dangerous countries.
God had blessed him and I am grateful so he may bless others.
Nothing wrong with taking a vacation and getting some rest.
      He is human.
I also love hearing the sermons of Charles Spurgeon. He spent a lot of time in France on the beach for breathing issue he suffered.
A man of God for certain.
Judge not that you might be judged in like manner.

I don't seei him flaunting wealth, wearing 1K$ suits, shoes, etc to the pulpit...or hear of his flying any privately owned planes worldwide NOR does he stand up at the pulpit full of pride and bragging about himself. However the Lord Himself has chosen to bless AB... take it to the Lord,
I would be careful of attempting to disparage someone who holds the Word of God in modesty and in truth and power to teach and preach wholly the Word of our God.
