I have been enjoying the Radio silence ship between Alastor and Vox so much. And I just thought this audio goes well with the (oh what if Vox had a crush on Alastor and wanted him to join his team, where our Ace Alastor is just not having it) head canon.

And maybe Vox is trying to explain that that's not the case. Like, sure he's HOPING to get with Alastor, but that's not the reason he brought him on board.

@@RLane-xz5cjHIII YES that is exactly what I wanted my animatic to portray. I am so happy that you interpreted that way as well. Alastor knows Vox has a crush towards him, it’s obvious, his face shows it all. But Alastor thinks that Vox is only seeking him out, or their friendship has turned sour because of Voxs desire to be with him sexually. However that is not the case at all.

Most RadioStatic lovers talk about how sad Vox is but I don’t think enough of u realize how bad Alastor must feel. Even if Vox wants him for more than just sex, Alastor doesn’t know that. It’s probably making him feel so *gross*.
And given the time period Al is from, nothing other than heterosexual relationships were accepted, so he’s probably faced this exact dehumanizing feeling so often that he doesn’t give romance a chance….

The stolitz and one sided radiostatic made me cry in every night, and this video made me cry for straight 5 days😭
Imagine that instead of a Vox asking him to join the Vees he ask him on a date and alastor being…well alastor rejected him and only thought of him as a friend Vox feeling embarrassed and heartbroken decides to slander Al’s name on one of his shows causing a media war (trademark). Al’s ultimately win but then he’s disappear for what ever reason cue episode 2. He (Al) at taunt Vox and the end of the episode by saying “you’ll hav ta try harder then that OLD FRIEND” reaffirming that Al saw him as a FRIEND.
But then why did Al lie in the song when he said “He asked me to join his team”? It could be that Al was also embarrassed by this and didn’t even want the idea Alf live in his public image.

Dude this reminded me of a radiostatic fic called Addicted (by Dancingdog if you want to read it) and i was literally just reading it a couple of hours ago the vibes fit perfectly.
Another animation with Vox and Alastor, beautiful and makes me cry. I feel so bad for Vox and even I know that he is a villain. I think he could deserve something better.

This video has actually given me a new headcanon for Vox -
As shown in Episode Two, or "Radio Killed The Video Star", whenever Vox is experiencing severe anger or anything, he tends to buffer.
My headcanon is that this happens to Vox with any emotion, if he's feeling it intensely enough.
So, whenever he's really sad, he'll have these little glitches that have frames as if he were crying intensely, seeing that he probably can't actually cry, because he's a screen, and, as shown in his more demonic form, the red liquid running from his mouth doesn't exit the screen.
But, because Vox doesn't really seem to like showing off his more soft sides, he probably has the ability to hide what he's truely feeling and replace it with a more blank expression.
But, as I said, if he's feeling it intensely enough, he will buffer and his true emotions will show through.
Same universe, different characters.

A: Vox was Alisters assistant and when Vox began to gain power he started to think Alister was beneath him
B: Vox was interested in Alister and they were friends but Vox wanted to be more so he made a move and Alister rejected him
C: Vox has a major Obsession with Alister but it got to much to the point even he didn’t want to deal with him anymore

A theory I have is that when Vox wanted Alastor to join the Vees (Instead of The Vees it would have been named The AVs if he had joined), and when Al said no he got pissed.

Bruh, I actually CRIED at this! Also going to throw in a theory that I've had for a long while about Alastor and Vox:
WARNING: This will be mostly me trying to prove that both Radiostatic and Radioapple could be canon at the same time, and Zestial could be the one who forced Alastor to make a deal with him. There will be mentions of possible brainwashing and Alastor possibly being one of the founders of The Vees.
I recently watched this video, and it caused me to create my own theory: th-cam.com/users/shortsj48YH2wDvOc
I do believe that it COULD be Zestial if it turns out to not be Lilith in either Season 2 or onward, due to Zestial being the oldest Overlord and could have HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of souls under his control, and could possibly have mastered witchcraft in his BeforeLife (what I will now call the time a Sinner or Winner was alive), not counting the ones that have died due to past Exterminations who could have also been some of the Overlords that Alastor toppled over when he arrived in Hell.
Now we get to Alastor's possible relationship with The Vees.
I DO believe that he did join at the time when Vox asked, and it gave him, Husk, and Nifty a new home for the time being.
I also believe Alastor changed his name to something like Valastor or Venison.
He probably never liked interacting with Valentino due to his moral code and whenever he HAD to, I think he had to literally either USE his own shadow or have Husk or Vox to hold him back from harming Valentino the second he saw him. I also think that he mostly stayed in his radio station area unless Vox dragged him out of it for parties or meetings or Vox would often ask one of his workers to tell Alastor that he needs to see him, which worked about 50% of the time.
I also believe that Alastor and Vox WERE an actual couple, but often hid it from the public due to not wanting to risk any scandals being formed or being seen as vulnerable to anyone else besides one another.
Now we get to sometime before the 7 year time skip before Season 1 takes place.
I believe Zestial found out about their relationship and decided to attempt to eliminate Vox by forcing Alastor to make a deal with him.
Here's what I think the details of said detail were:
Pros: Alastor gets more power to make himself stronger than before and would possibly no longer need Husk, Nifty, or Vox to fight FOR him.
Cons: Alastor "gives up" (in reality they become suppressed) his memories of his time as a member of The Vees and his love for Vox, become bound to Zestial with a chain similar to Angel Dust's and Husk's, and would be unable to defy him no matter what kind of order he gave out and would not reveal his name to anyone given that we often see the green stitches on Alastor's mouth, possibly hinting to this.
Not wanting Zestial to kill Vox, he accepted the deal.
Vox finds out about this, and I think this is when their "fight" happened. It was basically Vox fighting against a now brainwashed Alastor who was now forced to believe by Zestial's magic that he had rejected Vox's offer and thought Vox was getting "pissy" about it. Vox BARELY won against him, leading to his screen getting damaged, possibly explaining why Vox changed his head from the box to a flatscreen and possibly getting a screen protector installed in it just to be safe.
Vox probably tried to help Alastor remember one more time by holding his hand, something that I think was personal to both of them, but Alastor would have wrenched his hand away, called for Husk and Nifty, and told them that he was leaving, which led to Vox never seeing Alastor again after that, until the second episode of the series.
NOW we get to present day.
I noticed in Alastor's Pilot design that he looked a bit disheveled and dirty, which is VERY different to what we see now in Alastor's current design that looks VERY clean and put together. We even see him cleaning his monocle while he's walking with Charlie.
I think this was intentional on ZESTIAL'S part since I also think he DOES believe in the potential of the Hotel and sent Alastor in the state he was in to make it seem more genuine.
Now we get to Alastor's friendships with Rosie and Mimzy.
I think he met them BEFORE the deal and still has his memories of them but they were slightly altered by Zestial to erase any moments of Vox being there, and I think Rosie somehow found out about the deal Zestial forcefully made with Alastor, but she still cared about him, so she didn't try to FORCE him to remember the past.
And Mimzy probably never knew or cared about what happened in Alastor's past. She just liked him because he was "strong" and a possible "ladies' man".
I originally thought Husk and Nifty were spared from Zestial's brainwashing but I now think that they were ordered to never say his name when trying to tell Alastor the truth of who currently OWNS him. Kind of like in Episode 5, where Husk insinuating the owner causes Alastor to get REALLY threatening, something that I don't think Husk ever saw before in Alastor, which makes him realize that HIM telling the truth won't do anything.
In the finale, I think the brainwashing Zestial did to Alastor seemed to wear off a little bit after he made the deal with Charlie and being attacked by Adam's guitar, letting him remember SOMETHING, but we currently don't know what that memory might have been.
It could have been a memory of him and Vox when they were together, or something from his time as a Vees member that could help him and the others fight back against his currently former allies but he probably won't be able to tell them due to the deal he made with Vaggie in the first episode about no longer dealing with anything television-related, which is where the favor Charlie now owes him comes in.
I think he's going to ask Charlie have LUCIFER help him break out of his deal with Zestial. Due to my belief that because he's the current King of Hell, he could possibly tear apart any Soul Contracts without any negative repercussions to both the client and the dealmaker.
This would possibly take place after Alastor falls for Lucifer, but becomes afraid to admit it, causing him to be in the middle of a love triangle.
After the deal gets broken, Alastor would either have to choose between getting back together with Vox, or starting a new relationship with Lucifer, actually becoming Charlie's second father figure.
Or they could end up in a Poly ship where Alastor gets the best of both worlds, I don't f*cking know at this point, anything could happen.
Few things I wanted to add that I wasn't able to in the main theory:
I believe Velvette was recruited by Valentino to replace Alastor and she took over what might have been Alastor's old radio station that she turned into a fashion area.
Alastor might actually have the other half of the photograph of himself because Vox might have given it to him to help him remember and break free from Zestial's control.
I think Vox got into the on and off relationship with Valentino to try and fill the void that Alastor unintentionally left on him, but I don't think he's truly happy with him and what he's doing to Angel Dust and the other workers. I mean, LOOK at how Vox reacted when he thought Angel left. While I know that it could have been just him being happy that one of his "competitors" for Valentino's "affections" disappeared, it might have also been someone finally getting away from the abuse which I do think might also be happening to Vox, just when Velvette isn't around to witness and record it and Vox might be afraid to record the evidence himself due to not wanting the image he put up all this time to get tarnished.
Alastor doesn't like HARD EDM music despite having Electro swing in his songs because I think Valentino often blasted it whenever he was around him to force out of the room due to possibly finding out about him having sensitive hearing and Vox would often be the one to lead him out and comfort him afterwards.
I also highly believe that Vox and Alastor will be redeemed together due to both being kind of stubborn people in their own ways but would come together in the end.
Wow that’s a whole essay 😭 But an interesting take on the possible story non the less.
Look…. I hate. Vox sometimes but he’s incredible as a character… I LOVE HIM AS A CHARACTER, BUT IN REALITY HE CAN BURN ALIVE OR JUMP OFF A CLIFF
But videos like this makes me feel bad for him…. Following for somebody that doesn’t love you back or can’t love you back…. It is so hard to deal with…. Sometimes it takes months even years to get over…. It’s really sad honestly…

I theorized Vox had his first relationship with Alastor shattered when Alastor found out the truth about him cheated out with Val and he was like “Do you take me for an idiot for not knowing about your relationship with Valentino Vox? I already know you have been hanging around with him for weeks while I wasn’t expecting you to until now. You said ‘I made it pretty clear that I’d prefer someone more cool not someone in red stripes like the deer freak like him.’ I heard you said that loud and clear, ok?”
