I also reside in Texas and have been a stay at home mom for 10 years with prior medical assistant education but haven’t worked and scared of not finding employment from not having experience in the work field

I took a coding and billing class online. Which helped me learn how to code. I had many years in various positions in the medical field that helped me get the experience. Then I studied the AAPC study guide as well to take the CPC exam and my Bachelor Degree was a 4 year college. You have the experience don’t let fear keep you from experiencing life. You are steps away from accomplishing greatness!
