So I'm British and a little Italian- born living in the Pacific Northwest- practically as far from Europe as ypu can get And it's a strange feeling listening to this song. I almost feel proud of my heritage
@@Armakk exactly what you pointed out: the audience clapping on the wrong beat was a huge bummer. I always thought that. I know the audience meant well.. but damn, that sucks.. Still: There's no other band that went through so many different genres over a 30 year career, much less, HAD a 30 year career, within which they: Took $75,000 from General Motors, and gave every penny to a group of people for them to sue General Motors with. Even the most "Anarchist" / "Punk" band can't say they ever LEGIT did anything like that. Not your Misfits, not your NOTHING. They were the real fucking deal. And legit operated as a collective. But yes: too bad the audience clapped on the wrong beat lol
Thank you, Magpie for helping me find this.
if we're here because of the same Magpie: hi! isn't she awesome. so glad I found Chumbawamba, wish I hadn't come so late.
I wish I could have been there.
Oh for a time machine, so I could have been there.

It is like the USA deep south. The US South made the Klan. But it is also the South who fights them, tooth, nail, and blood.
Wow
Thx for posting
I always remember their gig in Ilosaari -rock. So energy and beautiful.
It's so funny that a badass anarchist punk band is known for "Tubthumping." Love these folks.
utterly incredible
😿
How long ago was this final performance?
@@Ash-zm1vx this was on Halloween, 2012
I think it was like in Leeds or somewhere around there
ah ok thanks
Clap with the tambourine people 😂
A crowd of white people clapping on the downbeat to an anarchist anthem is tragically the Chumbawamba story in a nutshell. The band deserved better.

@@G.G.___162eh, the audience is clapping on EVERY beat, which make it a little better. If they were only clapping on 1 and 3, that would be way worse.
