There is so much amazing music by NYSB available on You Tube. I live in Yorkshire UK which is the home of many brilliant bands (I am a Vice President of one of them) but NYSB has a special something which is captivating. I have just come across this video and have been thrilled by the inclusion of Ray Steadman Allen's 'Christ is the answer' with Bramwell Tovey as the wonderful soloist. Many years ago my wife and I were privileged to host Ray in our home when he was guest conductor for a reunion weekend of the local Salvation Army Band of which I was Bandmaster. Ray was of course an absolutely outstanding musician but he was so modest and encouraging. It was a joy to be in his presence.
Is anyone playing "Minneapolis 4" anymore? Also the Ball arrangements? How about Star Lake? Especially Star Lake appealed to Army youngsters who wanted to enroll in camp

Great band always a high class performance from the New York Staff Band.
Fantastic
Further to my previous comment wasn't Bramwell Tovey not only terrific on the piano but also a most engaging compere?
Alléluia, Que Dieu soit loué!
Great Parrot joke!
