I ordered the taper blade, but I'm starting to fall in love with the fade blade on them. once u get used to them they don't snag. also i rolled up some Duct tape and put it on the bottom of my charging stand, now it don't move. and i got on the gamma+ UK site and got the DUB guards, aint out in the US till June. they are fire, but hit me for like 72 bucks this over seas shipping

I been cutting with them for a week, it's a close call but I'm taking these over the babyliss now. Just more comfortable and quieter and the charger stand is a huge plus

I believe if you swap out the blade, it won't snag the follicle holes, and take some bulk down? Maybe try a review on blade swapping and try them on bulk and scalp snags. Blades make a big difference as well. I've seen some video where the ergo gamma didn't have a fade blade. It was more of a babyliss blade with the lines on top.
Yeah. If you don’t hold the blade flat it snags certain people. They do have a taper blade so maybe people are using that now. I do believe the babyliss blade fits also tho.
I have a carbon babyliss blade. I like it, and do think it makes a difference from the original blade that comes with the babyliss clipper. But I am definitely going to grab a few gamma's and try swapping the blades.

How long do they stay cool, how long does the battery last and how do they perform with bulk.A lot of these clipper videos are done with Hispanic hair, but the real test is thick coarse hair.
Personally for me they don’t overheat. I’ve heard some people say they do. The battery will last about 4-6 cuts depending on your speed. And yes they work well with over curly / coarse hair
Ergo or cordless masters for beginning self fade?Have the octane for bulk. Thanks for the great videos
I would say the ergo. The masters are good but they end up getting super loud and it’s kind of annoying

I have also found that the ergo can’t handle bulk. I haven’t zero gapped them yet and was hoping it would sort that issue out but having seen your review after you’ve zero gapped them it still struggles with bulk🤦🏻♂️

@@boriswindsor-lockhorne2449 so this is a tough. So. I would say the Jrl is a great clipper. I just can’t really get used to the longer lever. It is great for bulk removal and just a great all around clipper. However I love the ergo for fading. Something bout fading with a magnetic clipper

I honestly haven’t used em. I just stuck wit the colorful guards since they fit and I’m familiar with em

How would you compare these to the Cordless masters?
I feel the cordless masters take down bulk better and cut slightly smoother. But for fading and detailing I would say the ergos are better. A lot lighter than the masters for sure
