I have Ken's fantastic book and have watched this video a few times. Very inspirational - it also helped me to hear Ken state that he has thrown his fist through a canvas under development more than once. If an amazing painter like Ken can get frustrated it reassures me that my frustrations - at times - are simply human.

I bought the Streaming Video and Ken"s book " Landscapes in oils" it partners well with what Ken's teaching in the video. The section on String Method and Pile Method of mixing your color values is very interesting. I think this alone will help me in my journey as a painter.

@@fadatty2756 i learned a lot in this technique. Watching the tutorial was like a eurika moment for me. Worth more than your money if you can pull it off. The process is relatively tedious but that's what it takes to create a masterpiece. I adopted the concept which is more on indirect painting, and i applied it in my own wet-on-wet technique. But if i want to create a masterpiece, i will follow the whole painting process.
