- Been after one of the analogue Frogs since they came out, but funds and availability have put paid to that, until now. One popped up on eBay recently at a ridiculous price, I jumped in, but did it pay off? Watch me unbox this bargain and let's take a look!
I like your style. Very geeky, very clearly you're into the boring detail that almost nobody cares about but you show us all the boring stuff for a very short period of time and then move on so we don't get bored.

This watch is fantastic. I have many g shocks and have to say this is one the best of them all. The band is extremely comfortable and the face is gorgeous.

I've got a 2003 red jelly GW203K-4JR that I've been wearing for 17 years and it still looks like new, it's been diving many times, it's been in a motorbike accident and survived a fall from the 17th floor of a condo block.

Nice review and congratulations on great deal. My wife just gave me the MT-G MTGB1000B-1A as a wedding anniversary gift. Love the watch as you can imagine. Next is one of the three frogman gshocks. I like all three models and the red one is probably my favorite.

Il y a encore trois ans, je n’imaginais pas avoir une G-Shock un jour, car je n’aimais que les montres automatiques (Sinn, Rolex, Tudor, Omega, C.Ward….) mais je suis tombé dans la marmite et je n’arrive plus à m’en sortir car je prend tout autant (mais différemment) de plaisir à porter une de mes G-Shock aujourd’hui ! 👍🏻
Absolutely agree with your sentiments, grew up loving them, never had one and how addicted. As you said, the Swiss ‘I look like I’m wearing my dads watch’ isn’t for everyone. G Shock are big boys toys, brings out the inner kid in me, love them. Lovely Frog mate, definitely on my list for later in the year. Keep the videos going.

My son got that Lego defender last Christmas, it's one hell of a bad ass Lego kit. As for the analog frogman it's both completely badass yet each owner can probably list off their top 5 things they hate about it. With all that said owning a few frogmans this thing is the best built quality wise. Casio app kind of blows , the ability to read the sundials requires beyond perfect eye sight but whatever.
One of the best watches there is! Definitely can go anywhere with it! Nice!

Ps the best rubber strap casio makes .. I wish they made that same rubber strap for every damn model.
You can buy replacements for most G parts from Casio directly.
@@AngryBritain meaning if they made it with that same rubber but for different models ie rangeman gps , mudmaster gwg 1000 , the king etc.
That one little corner of the bezel is only $2 on PacParts. By the way, you can't really grind down G-shock resin. The resin has a clear coat and trying to sand or buff it can ruin that. But anyway, it is a really cheap replacement part.
Thanks for this, yes you’re right. I got in touch with Casio after I made the video, came to about £10 all in, but I haven’t bothered - I’ve been too busy enjoying it!
This might be my 6th frogman! I'm waiting for the royal navy frogman collaboration to come out some time this month. Cheers from USA.

Great review thank you! I’m not a fan of strap overhang at the ends so I’m trying to figure out if this will have much of that. Can I ask how big your wrists are?
About 7.5 mate. I didn't find the overhang much of a problem, it's the physical size of the watch that is. It's massive.

Had Rolex, had Omega, have Tudors. I have sold them all bar the Tudor and replaced with G Shocks. I have all the Frogmans so far including the Royal Navy one. Great watches. I also have quite a few other g shocks too!

@@AngryBritain still waiting for delivery. It should be here end of May. I missed it on the G Shock website as it kept crashing the morning of release so went to an AD in the UK who is due to get them 28th May. :-) Borneo Toad is my fave Frogman. I’m not sure the RN will overshadow that. :-)
Similar experience. Owned many a Rolex in the past but man I’ve fallen in love with G shocks

Damn dont sleep on ebay. PayPal will protect you almost automatically as a buyer. Also the sellers history is key in your decision.

my current issue is i want the royal navy frogman but when i get it my gwg1000 is probably going to sit in my watch case when normally its never off my wrist thats my problem i want so many watches but when i find that one i love i never want to take it off lol, that black and yellow is amazing too bad they made the lume on the right yellow on that one otherwise it would be mine already lol
I have a GBG Mudmaster that I wear most of the time, the Froggy comes out for special occasions!

Corr that’s a tough one!! But honestly I’m having some regrets about selling my Frogman and don’t really have any feelings about the 2000, so I guess it’s be the Frogman for me, despite its massive size.

If you want to send me a GWG I'd love to! Ha :) I believe the GWG is the 'premium' version of the Mudmaster, and has sapphire glass and slightly different design. It's lovely, but I'm not sure it's worth almost double the cost of the GG-B100 that I own (and love), and there's no 'cheap' version of the Frogman to compare it to! Frogman lacks the functionality of the GWG, but it's a tool watch for Divers, so horses for courses I guess. Personally I prefer the Frogman, it's a premium product, and feels like one, but I also know GWG owners love theirs too!

Gwg 1000 Mudmaster, the Best
How would you compare the fit to a 9400 rangeman. Thinking of a limited edition 9400 or gwfa1000
It’s larger than a 9400 Rangeman but weirdly it doesn’t feel that big. I think it’s due to the materials used. It’s very comfortable. It feels smaller on the wrist than the GG-B100 Mudmaster in the video, which is also bigger than a Rangeman!
Get the Rangeman. I have GW-9400CMJ and it is fantastic.
rangeman 9400 is great,. i have it. do not get the blacked out version. as nice as it looks i hate having trouble reading the time. I suppose if i was a bad arse navy seal hiding in the bushes a blacked out watch may be nice,. but for anyone else I want to be able to read the time without having to activate the light in broad day light. I may be exaggerating but it is frustrating .
Get the standard 9400 or find another with a positive display.
A bit late, but here is my 2 shekels - these are my only 2 G shocks. The 9400 is more comfortable. It's a bit smaller and the band is more pliable. I'm between holes on my Frogman strap ( they are far apart ) and can't get a proper fit.

For gshock I doubt there is a fake market in the united states or UK. Just stay away from asian sellers.

Nice watches but the video quality is bad.
Can literally see the crown digging into your hand. This is the reason i sold my gg-b100. Most uncomfortable watches ive ever worn.
That was the biggest problem with this watch and why I eventually sold it, it’s just too big to be comfortable, despite the fact it looks amazing. I also own tbe GG-B100 - it’s actually my favourite G that I own - and while it can dig in, it’s nowhere near as bad as the GWFA.
