I'm not sure why this video got recommended to me, but as a brazilian law student I really enjoyed it. Our Constitution follows the same principle but is more explicit on the matter of what can't be amended. Also, it is from 1988 so maybe cases like this one might have influenced our constitutional assembly. Really interesting
I am from Kasaragod dist where edneer mutt is located. Initially when i started studying about this case law i was very proud about the seer who is a petitioner. At a later stage i was very proud about Mr. Nana palkiwala who argued such a great law. At last i was very proud about the judgement. Over all. There are three parts of this case which i am proud of now. Not just about seer.
LIstening to your channel, one gets the impression that India is indeed a vibrant and functioning democracy where there is proper separation between the various pillars of democracy. But the ground conditions, especially in these times looks...different.
The british -wantnly made several problems & went , parted already , Afgans, Nepal, Burma etc. also designed a majore problem in creating 2 Pakistan. Thanks to Dr Ambedkar & several giants, made a well thought , drafted constitution

When palkhivala completed his arguments one of the judges has this to say the hights of advocacy and eloquence to which nani has risen is unparallel to the entire history of the world
