Sacy and Tenz just had so much experience and knowledge combined it's hard to replace. Especially Sacy being the veteran in esports and having that ice in his veins in clutch moments and being super disciplined.
@@jordan-eh8ni sure he lacks firepower compare to the old and new iteration of sen. But his experience as initiator main + the comfortability perfect fit for the style sentinels were going for. He was a good team player

I think I big part you should've also highlighted was the fact that Johnqt and n4rrate switched roles too. During the Sen city classic John imo looked the least comfortable even over n4arrte due with him trying to look to start rounds instead of closing them.
@@xzeraCS I think the logic is there. You want your mechanically talented players to isolate duels, and so a lot of teams put those players on senti (like Alfa, Suygetsu, even someone like Yetujey). But I just don't think N4rrate's playstyle suits the rawness that senti requires. Last year, Shin and Magnum set N4rrate and Marteen up so well and they thrived because of that. Even during his Mad Lions run he had a lot of support behind him, so I don't know, he might just be a more team fighter.
I think allot of it is a synergy thing. TenZ and Sacy were there for a very very long time compared to everyone else. And it took last year's roster a while to truly build that synergy. If they keep grinding they definitely can fix these issues
Can you do nrg next? We’ve seen it work very well but looking back, it wasn’t as if crashies and victor are bad players. Are the two t2 prodigies actually a real upgrade over them or did the team just mix better?
An analyst role does way more than what platoon is doing in these TH-cam video. Not saying that he is not capable, but if platoon has shown enough to prove that he is a top tier analyst, you can be sure that he is already picked up by teams. Then again, maybe he was offered a position, but he rejected it. We may never know.
All you said is true, but this is just the beginning of the season (it’s not even started), so I think we need to give them more time to prove us that they are the best
I think it will take some time to settle into the team, especially cause it's two new players who replaced two very important players. But I think once they get their chemistry back this team will achieve greater than the older roaster, as a SEN fan I hope they do
Ok, One thing I wanted to know about is the JhonQT playing Initiator role. When he was playing Sentinels he could sit tight and observe enemies movement. Now he has to call and also thinking about how to set up Zekken. I would've liked Narrate to be second entry for Sentinels. Thoughts?
Johnqt can make tactics more effective especially when he has flash and smokes. The important thing about igl is having the abilities to set up your team perfectly. But if you're playing sentinel / anchor, you can't do that.
@Rapido7cold I'm getting what you're saying. But my point is zelsis is always there for setting up duelists. My point about reading what the enemy team is doing. But in the end it depends on the player's ability to adapt.
The thing that always gets me is Tenz-haters don't realize just how impactful Tenz was. Tenz is/was by far the best at adapting to what Valorant eventually became. Simply put, there is no one else who can adapt to all the changes the game went through as well as Tenz did.
ok lets relax here tenz was mainly a Jett player at the start of his career. he didn't adapt to raze, nor did he adapt to the chamber meta once it happened. he eventually role switched and started playing omen and some flex. he got decent at omen, and already was decent at kay0 through his cs experience. in reality he was maybe a master of 2/3 agents total forsaken/chronicle/zekken and so many other players play far more agents than him and adapt very quickly in comparison to him. tenz wasn't that special
@@paroxysm6437 dont want to be that guy but even they said that if they had change the comp to a chamber comp back in the day, the say that the story would be different cause tenz was still peak in his aim but we would never know (all the other thing you said are real tho)
Are you going to do a NRG new roster analysis? Also i saw the Asia pacific tournament recently and Gen G had a new interesting buy with pistols just thought its interesting to mention
losing one of the most mechanically gifted player to touch valorant( tenz) would be bad, bang is good but he won't win you those important crazy rounds that tenz used to win. About n4rrate, making him play sentinel is big mistake because n4rrate has always been more of an aggro player so lurking does not suit his playstyle, initiators like fade and gekko are basically 2nd entry after duelists perfect for his playstyle. N4rrate would be better than sacy if johnqt lets him play his role otherwise they are doomed.
we gotta let this new roster simmer a lot more before they can bring out their truest potentials. narrate and bang might never be a replacement for tenz and sacy, but i have hope they can bring out their own strengths and the entire team can mold around them to create a new type of synergy.
Surprised to see TenZ and Zekken and Jingg not on top of the 30 deadliest players on the world but then I remembered that everybody already knows what to expect from them that's why I guess it makes them less deadlier than somehow a little bit unpredictable players like JohnQT or the others
you can tell losing TenZ has hurt this team in some capacity, TenZ and Zekken on their own could open up rounds now they don't really have that since N4RRATE is on a more supportive role, and Bang naturally isn't as mechanically gifted or agressive as TenZ, TenZ was probably the most optimal player to fit around Zekken.

I'm not sure. I think Bang will be a good fit. However, in a lot of N4rrates streams I see him complaining, and putting blame on either his team, or the enemy team rather than actually taking responsibility for his own mistakes. To me, that just makes me think his mindset is not in the right place.
