Michael Jackson - Chicago (80's Mix)

Hi everyone! I'm bringing yet another one of my personal mixes, In today's video I'll be presenting you my take on the track "Chicago".
The song was originally recorded during the "Invincible" album sessions, But in this mix I'll be reconstructing the song as if it were made during the "Captain EO/ We Are The World" (circa 1985) sessions! Please leave any suggestions for future mixes!

Recorded in 1985 during the Pre Bad Era under the name She's Lovin' Me, later changed to She's Was Lovin' Me in 1999. Both remained unreleased until 2014 and 2022 respectively. It was eventually renamed to Chicago to avoid confusion with songs that has the word Love on them.

This song is a DEFINITE favorite of mine off of the unreleased Invincible sessions (now released on Xscape) and you , my dear friend , did super amazing on this one !
It would be awesome to have an instrumental or a 12” mix of this version of “Chicago” (or “She Was Lovin’ Me”) - honestly to add up !!

Is it wrong to say that I prefer this over the original?
I don't know why, but the song just comes out a little more melancholic in this mix which fits the lyrics in my opinion.
