- Ever since I turned 30 I started noticeably losing hair. It's 2017, I'm 35 and it's time for me to stop torturing my self over my balding head. It's time for me to embrace it, more than I ever have. In my mind there is only one way to do this and one way only...
you cant help going bald, it happens, but the secret is in my view, workout, go for low body fat, smile, confident, own it, there's a few shallow women out there but quite a few more who it doesn't bother, a bit of a tan and maybe 10 day old stubble also helps.

This is such low hanging fruit advice. The way you put it balding men’s only way to compensate for their baldness is by getting jacked and growing a beard

@Tha Real Mccoy yup, its alot tougher for short men to accept going bald. tall bald men are attractive, short bald men are not seen as attractive. I'm just under 5'9, so I am not happy about losing my hair.

I lost my hair when I was 17.. i used to cry while travelling to and fro from the school.. now i just enjoy the way it is.. i would lie if i say it doesn't bother me.. but it has quite normal and i have accepted it..

No one these days sees anything odd or remarkable in a man with a shaved head. It's become socially acceptable. Get a buzz cut.
The solution is go enroll in the gym,
be muscular, walk like The ROCK,
shave it all, and show you are confident,
wear shades when you go out,
that is the only solution

my hair started thinning when I was about 24 years old. One day I decided to go bald, at first it was weird to my friends but after a week they got used to my new look. Thank God I had a face full of beard. Now I cant trade that look for any other.It's nice being bald.
"it's a way of taking back control" it's all about it. Buzz cut/shave it. You'll feel amazing.
Definitely struggling with thinning hair , kills your self confidence and almost embarrassed to even try talk to women because most of them are judgmental and don't like a balding young guy 😭
Josh Fennell first of all you don't want to be with a woman who judges you by your thinning hair in the first place. Second, if you want to be attractive to the opposite sex it's all about confidence. So you need to try to find a way to not let thinning hair effect your confidence. This is easier said than done. You have to embrace it.
I did it by shaving my head, you might find a different way. But either way, you just gotta embrace it and own it.
Everything is Amazing! Thankyou for the reply :) I have tried shaving it a few times and didn't feel comfortable at the times but I'm sure when I shave it again and again it will slowly get easier for me :), the confidence part is hard cause I generally had low self esteem before the thinning.
Well, maybe shaving is not the way you embrace your thinning hair, maybe you'll be able to find something that works for you better. There's plenty of options as I mentioned in the video :)
Improving confidence is something everyone struggles with, some more than others. I guess the most important thing is to not stop. So keep at it :)

Great video, man. I've come to terms with my shaved head (I started balding in my early 20s). It would look (Vin Diesel) cool but my curse is my ears stick out too much. If I could pin those suckers back I'd be fine. So now, instead of Diesel, I look like Dumbo.

Thanks for this video. I’m 36 and my hair is noticeably thinner in places. I decided to embrace it and start cutting it very short… I do think I’m just going to shave it as it progresses. We are so much more then our hair and I refuse to let other people’s insecurities affect me.

I don’t care about balding, unless I’m 17, I’m balding at 17, if I started balding at 30 I wouldn’t give a fuck
I started shaving my hair bald when I was 17 going on 18 from April 2000 and it best thing I done because the hairstyle suits me. You see all these celebrity men with bald heads and it hasn't stopped them from becoming successful in life.
I started balding when i was 15 during my school days..... I kept on doing comb over and try to hide my balding forehead..... I was doing it soo well that none of my friends came to know about my baldhead.... Time passed away, my forehead went more bald than before, combover wasn't easy now, i had to keep a look at the wind or it would reveal all my baldness in one blow. My dad told me to shave my head during my school days and told that you are just a school kid and it doesn't matter much, think long term. But i refused and kept on doing combovers, because i was afraid that my classmates would make fun of me and girls wouldn't talk to me etc. My dad isn't bald nor any of my family member ,he is 54yrs old and still have good set of hairs.I can't afford those expencive hair treatments and surgeries, so today i have decided to shave my head. It's not easy to do combovers now a days, a blow of wind would reveal that all in public and that's much more embarassing than shaving my head. I turned 18 yesterday and have decided to shave,but the barber's shop isn't open now so i was watching youtube videos to gather courage.
I will miss my hairs after that .

@@MeisterAemon oh I shaved my head after that, this is how my harstyle is now ,short hair or shaved... i dont feel any shame being like that , this is how it is and I am happy with it . My hairfall stopped but the damage it did to my hairline is still there , i would prefer keeping my head shaved rather than growing it again, Btw this profile pic is 4yr old : )

I can live with baldness. It's other people who can't get over themselves and use it to insult and belittle others. If they would move on and worry about themselves, there wouldn't be a problem.

Twenty to thirty years ago bald men shaving their heads was a bold decision. And did seem dramatic and freeing. Now too many people do it. It's almost become the modern version of comb-over. It has that same sense that you're trying to hide something. Nowadays it's bolder do go with the Captain Picard look. Still very short and masculine. But long enough to show you're not embarrassed about where you have hair and where you don't. You'll notice recently a lot of former head-shavers are going this route. Jason Statham has converted to this approach in recent years.
I see your point but I disagree. You see, the comb over is literally trying to comb over whatever hairs you have left to “cover” the bald spot. Shaving your head is literally being bald, there is no hiding it, it’s only accepting it. The Statham look it cool too and honestly that’s just a shaved head with a week of not shaving, so all shaved men have that at one point or another.
At the end of the day, it’s not about what other people think it’s about you accepting it. Its more about how you see your self not how others see you.

I started balding at 17 in 12 th grade,,and during college I started losing hair and while completing my college degree at 22 I am completely bald , people use to tease on my baldness,,,i felt insecured to go out and i didn't attend my graduation too,,now I am 29 ,,i completely shaved my head ,,,life goes on but no girlfriend, nothing,,,, life goes on and on

I shaved mine and glad i did, F hair, hair does not make you or break you, you either have confidence or you don't... you can have a full head of hair and be a loser, a lot of men think that being bald makes them less of a man you got to get out of that way of thinking that's bullcrap. For 19+ yrs i shaved my head. Then 41 months ago a friend dared me to grow my hair out because he saw pictures of me w long hair but never personally saw me with hair. 41 months later my hair comes past my shoulders and all the curles too. I have some hair ontop of my head now..not lots but some. I like the hippy look but it is a PITA and it sucks when its windy out..hair blowing in my face. Who knows what tomorrow will bring my way.
