Switched to the jumbo grips about a month ago, took some getting used to but i stuck with them bc my lead wrist didnt hurt anymore, love them now, hitting it longer and straighter and wrists arent killing me after every round.
I nerded out a little bit on watching your swings. By the end, with the 4 iron, you looked kinda dejected. To make it quick, it looks like your setup position didn't change as the club got longer. At address, if you drop a string from your eyes straight down, the swings at 6:47 and 10:10 are at about the same point down the shaft. That 4 iron is about 3 inches longer than your PW. Create a little more separation at address so you don't have to on the downswing and at impact

If he didn't care, I don't think he would be messing with grips and wouldn't care about having his own clubs. Also, being a scratch golfer doesn't mean you're a good fitter/instructor. This is a great comment. I was struggling with toe strikes bad, went to Golftec and learned this ,helped me big time: To start, set your club aside and take a few arm swings while focusing on stretching your trail arm out as far away from your body in the downswing as possible. From impact into the follow-through, you should feel that your arm is fully extending toward the target as noted in the example above.

Had those for a while but the longer it went I realized they have too much squishiness to them and they had movement in my hands at higher speeds so went back to MCC with a couple wraps under each one
I’ve had these grips for 2 months and they have wear marks in the exact same spot just from going in and out the bag. They’re nice but not durable and they SUCK when it’s wet... but enjoy them
Also Steve! When your grips start getting slick and covered in finger poo you can use hand sanitizer to clean them down and bring back some of the stickiness once the sanitizer has dried
Just hot water and dish soap is the better option. Alcohol isn't great for the grips but dish soap just removes the oils which is what makes them slick.
steve! dont know if youll ever see this but ive played these grip last summer.. just saying if your hands get humid these will slip and be aware when you put them and take them back from your bag the tip will break quite easy! Hope everything works fine for you tho keep up the good work!
You finally did something right. Dry Tac are great grips. Your swing now looks good with more confidence. Congrats on that. I will say again blades are not for everyone, I have played with many pro's that hit cavity backs for peak forgiveness Apex dcb's would catapult your game into the 70's if you had a set.

I think the reason you toe the ball is your style swing. You jump away from the ball with both legs when you hit the ball. You shouldn’t really be jumping with irons. Try to Keep bother feet on the ground and rotate through the ball.
I’ve been playing golf for a year now and I’ve tried many grips and I have to say I love the jumbomax the best. I’ve always felt midsize grips were too small and that I was gripping the club way too hard so oversized/ jumbo is best for me. I shot a 79 yesterday and my swing felt fantastic. No mulligans, just good golf. I’d say for most the XS or S is the perfect size if you like grips bigger than midsize. I play Small but have no clue how anyone plays the XXL like Bryson. Would feel like holding the barrel of a baseball bat 😂
It's not recommended to hit golf clubs with new grips for at least 24 hours specifically to allow the solvent to cure/dry under the grip itself, or it may slip/move otherwise. Installing only takes minutes, so they probably have a policy to say 24 hours to hopefully not get any negative results. Cheers to more videos and good golfing!

Yo, you boys should learn to do this yourself. It DOESN’T take a day to regrip clubs. It takes about an hour after grips are on to dry and your ready to get dialed.
100% agree. Learn to do them yourself and save the money. I use air, so when I want to change and try something new, I have no issues with taking one off and putting new on. Or adding tape or removing to try new things. Taping a reg to get to a mid is a different feel than an un-taped mid
You can re-grip your own clubs, it’s very easy to do. Amazon has grips and all the tools you need! You can get the job done in about 1 hour (13 clubs)!
You hit it better on the range because you stay within yourself more and aren't trying to keep up with the distance of the other guys. They're better and stronger than you, you need to accept what your game is currently and keep your tempo under control when you're playing with everyone else. You're not going to hit it as far as them no matter how much effort you put into your swing no shame in playing 2 clubs more than them and swinging easy.
If you don’t use gloves, try using tennis overgrips on your clubs. They’re $1 a grip and you just wrap it yourself. I’d reccomend tourna grip if you sweat a lot or some generic tacky grips if you want the tacky cushioned feel.
Seriously you guys don't do your own grips? Easy and about 5 minutes a grip. Dri tacs are the nicest feeling Grips but they didn't last a whole season for me. Vlog idea for you Steve, do your own Grips.

If those are Dri Tac lites and you didn’t do anything with the head weights the swing weights are WAY off. They’re meant for people who shorten their drivers to help with swing weights.
Jumbo's might work for Bryson but we are not him. I tried a couple myself and same results. Nope. I had mid size MCC plus 4 from golf pride put on mine. I like them so far. Good luck with yours. Winn grips are great too. I have a couple on my wedges. Love them too. Good luck with your golf.
I’m a 3.7 handicap, I use GP plus4 Navy/red grips on my golf clubs and I don’t wear glove. It’s not giving my hands problems I guess it’s because I got strong hands.
Sometimes I hit the toe if I’m standing too far from the ball. As soon as i move the ball a little closer I start to find the middle of the club face. Maybe it’s the same for you

U should of got tour velvet their incredible the feel is second to none, titleist uses them on stock irons and wedges, theirs probably one on your new wedge... I do this myself it's easy as hell

Because there’s other stuff they have to do it’s just a guarantee.
When I worked in golf retail I was always told to quote 24hrs even though I could do a set in 10-15min. It's just big box store standards.

Midsize Golf Pride CP2's are what your looking for Steve, they are better than the Winn grips and will last a whole lot longer.

I love the Winn Dri-Tacs. All my clubs are new though so I wouldn't spend the money to change the grips quite yet. Maybe in a year or two.
