Yes pads are not affordable therefore ladies have to use cotton cloth which can lead to cervical Cancer.
Pads are not luxury items to be added with 13% VAT it's our necessity. It should be affordable.

@@opinions664 It's not about flashing it. It's about the fact that people see it as shameful to bring it normally without covering it. It's as normal as buying boxers without covering it but due to society's mindset (it's is seemed as a shameful thing that you should hide) is very wrong. And about the fact that the pharmacist has the same mindset also triggers me, you can ask the person who is buying as 'Would you like it to be wrapped or not?'. Periods are normal. Buying sanitary pads, tampons, menstrual cups, etc is also pretty normal. But wrapping those things (for society's people who have this unrealistic mindset) should not be normal. If you feel uncomfortable yourself then there is no problem but don't let society's stereotypes get into your mind.

We wear pads for 6-7 days, we get rashes, we can't even sneeze properly, we can't even laugh out loud, we can't sleep properly, we can't even sit comfortably and we can't do so many other things which we like to do during our periods. Thank you for making this video brothers ❤

@@trippy_b definitely. I kinda think our elders went along with the whole kitchen/Madir ma jaanu hunna phrase because they wanted/needed rest but these folks have added their own opinion on it and made it rather toxic.
I used to buy pad for my sisters as well because they weren't able to and everytime the pharmacist used to wrap it on newspaper like I was buying some narcotic drug. Pad isn't something to hide.

10:58 yeah we can’t sleep , sit , ride scooter properly ...we have to sit in an awkward position cause of constant fear of blood leakage. That’s why our back hurts so much and eventually we get headache as well.

Im 21yrs old boy sometime i used to sit in my shop to help my parents so at the moment couple of times ive realized and ive catch it that its fact
my mom is busy in the shop and im free at the same time women wants to buy a pad but she will standing for a minutes to buy a sanitary pad with my mom she wants to say sth but she feel kinda embarrased to tell me so directly ive said hajur lie k chayo hola vannusna ani matra vannu hunxa awkward manera so i used to comfort the environment by creating the normal situation like kun ma hola di majjale show gardinxu different different pads tespaxi chai alik comfort feel garera janu hunxa.

I've bought sanitary pad so many times. I'm thinking about it now and my guess is that I've been buying pad since 2013 for my mom and sis. I never noticed unusual reaction from any shopkeeper, here in Ghorahi. In fact, I had no idea that it was a taboo for a guy to buy a sanitary pad untill I started seeing some posts by online activists. I always thought it was normal and was actually shocked to find out that it wasn't.
And about the wearing part. I don’t think it was really necessary but okay.

Paper maa wrap garne has become a tradition now for the pharmacist, that's why people stare when someone carries it. I feel so bad thinking about days when I used to hide the sanitary pad after buying it but then I started carrying it without the newspaper.
This video is really good cause it is helping people to learn to Normalize period and to normalize pad . so thank you so much paradygm tv for making this video and teaching people about period I really appreciate it a lot.

Pad is not even the worst part, its the chunks of blood, pain and mood swings that comes with it. Periods hugely varies from person to person. If a female you know is on her periods then please don't get on her nerves cause she is very likely in a lot of pain and give her some chocolates.

A shift in these hormones lead to both physical and emotional symptoms like feelings of sadness, irritability and mood swings. So no girls want to behave bad with others it’s just happen. 🙂
