I always loved Jet. Was used on ipod commercials "back in the day" if you're under 30 lol. Australia has a treasure trove of rock music since the 70's, obviously ACDC & others, but some of their 90's / early 2000's stuff is brilliant too. I recommend you look up Silverchair : Israel's Son.

This is a great song. Full of energy, and with a great beat. Try Motorhead Ace of Spades too. This is another fast energy filled song with a great beat.
Every single song on Jets debut album was a direct rip off/copy of a 60's or 70's song. I am ok with that as they were great songs but I wish they would have acknowledged that this was what they had done.
Should check out some of their other tunes, bring it on back, roll over DJ, basically anything off the first album. Check out The Vines too, similar era.
These boys are from Melbourne and their debut album is a banger. I’m pretty sure Apple used it for iTunes or iPod in one of their commercials too.

This was released in 2003. Jet is a very retro band. Could easily be a song from The Kinks decades before.
Totally agree! Nic Cester reminded of Ray Davies the first time I heard and saw Jet. It was bizarre. Both great bands 🙂
