The bolt should be marked also, some inspectors are finicky, you could go to ten different shops or jobsites and everyone of em will do PIV different, good video.
It would be easier to tell when to stop if you mark the first line on the socket as well once you put the wrench on the nut. Then all you have to do is continue turning the wrench until the second line on the skidmore and the line on the socket line up. (Of course this would only work if you do not take off the socket to reposition your wrench again)
