Kairi was the main front line in game 7 and has the sole duty in face checking bushes. Baxia has tools to do it as a very mobile tank. Just well played from AP Bren to punish him that hard. There are plenty of miss played combo from Kiboy (Kadita) as well to the point even casters noticed it. Coach Duckey is insane as he basically checkmated coach Yeb to force pick Yve, a hero who is behind with the current meta of mages and countered it with Khaleed.

I blame the brainless tank jungle meta, core heroes should'nt be tanks, they are tanks for reasons andnjungling ahouldn't be one of them, it is plain stupid to have a core who can bulldoze and cc everything without fear of instantly dying/burst.
Tank jungle meta is simply braindead plebian trend, Montoon should fix that stupid thing already as players simply depend on it rather than playing their utmost with risk/reward plays

That is why instead of picking an assassin, it is much better to pick tanky heroes for jungling as it can sustain the poke damage given by the heroes and the lord.

In my opinion, from the draft alone, they were already on the losing side. It was pretty hard for Sanz to do anything with the Khaleed constantly picking him off.

I agree in order for onic to win they should get better picks for Sanz and CW.. and give kairi his comfort Hero's during final match. Kyletzy is definitely the best jungler but kairi can match that if he gets the right Hero's for the job just like when he uses Joy. and also they shouldn't have gaven in to AP BREN's 14min mark aggression.. APB won all 4 matches in under 15min bec. of their aggressive strategies.
Exactly, coach Duckey is a genius and knows the opponent's plan to go for double mage and made Onic force pick Yve, a hero who is behind in the current meta of mages and countered it with Khaleed.
It was already given that AP Bren read pos5 Kadita, but why didn't Onic make any adjustment to that, and push Kadita for pos4 instead, to get a much better hero for pos5, like a Kaja or Tigreal instead? Such set-up type roamer could even be used for combo with Kadita, plus the fact that they'd have a natural front-liner means Kairi won't have to risk his life during Lord clashes just to check bushes.

Not to mention the roam always babysit the goldlaner.. that kandita pick is such a bad move better to pick claude or lylia on 2nd pick to counter fred or any other mage from bren.
Kandita is squishy, melee and need a combo to burst the enemy but even faramis bring purify and cast netherealm to avoid kandita skill combo, lol and faramis will outscale kandita in terms of damage, lol.. kandita is only effective if against squishy jungler, mage and mm.

I'm still wandering why the blame is all on Kairi. They could just back off after the kill on Kairi and wait for the late game since they are usually stronger than bren on late game. But instead they forced a teamfight without reaching their power spike first vs a team that is already snowballing. This is more on the macro shotcall error I think.

They expected him to take that route during the last Lord fight. That was an excellent strategy call from APBR. Awesome fight from both teams bringing all the way to Game 7.

Yeah it’s really 50/50 in The first place. During upper final, bren was dominating until that blunder that they get wiped out and that really mentally affected them. Onic never thought that they’ll be facing a different apbren on the finals.

I knew that there was a mind game happening during the ub finals, apbr didn't reveal any new hero till the grandfinals and their draft & bans didnt changed game 1-3, while onic went all out already, and that's why coach duckeyy was very confident in his draft yesterday, they didn't even ban in game 3 to show how confident they are that they will beat them

In the last clash he dived in thinking that butts in terizla make a set up not knowing butts does not have the flicker. Seeing CW and Sanz in the backline positioning. That was a crucial miscommunication between them.
That happens when your roamer (Kadita) is gapped too hard. He can't even check bushes (One of the jobs as a roamer). Kairi was forced to check bushes himself even if he is the core. It's just unfortunate that he encountered three APBR players on that death bush. Surely he won't jump on that bush if he knows there three enemies there😂

It was the 7th game. Both teams must have been tired so miscomms and errors are unavoidable. Kudos to both teams showing a spectacular performance. It could have been anyone's game. Unfortunately for onic, bren performed better in game 7.
I guess bren has more mental fortitude, they are more battle tested. Them going all over the world joining different international tourneys made them like this, doesn't matter if they win or lose.

Guys, kairi was forced to check that bush with his mobility and that was his role, he went for that bush upon its edge, but bren expected that move, just the simple placement of 3 bren heroes was a perfect trap. Onic should have immediately retreated. It all goes down to the draft. They have been playing for hours. Another long late game must have been too much for onic. But they could have won that way.

I'm a fan of AP bren and the last bush check of Kairi is good but unexpected since most of the time, if you check a bush during that Lord fight, you will only see mage and roamed but it was different when he checked , there's a 4 man with mm thus after getting killed, onics mind was messed up. If onic could've just waited for Kairi resurrection and not engaged into that fight, they could've burst supermarco and reverse the fight

Fans are dissapointed that Onic lose and those who are mad blaming Kairi cuz he's import player. But man, I know the moment I saw him crying, his dissapointment must be greater than us.
2 times failed to get M-series trophy, this time his chance to win is high (not to mention they clean sweep Bren at upper bracket with 3-0). Everyone is confidence Onic gonna win & expectations are high, but with 3-4 score they ended up lost. The pain would be not as great If they're completely stomped with 1-4 or 2-4 score, that means they lost because they're simply weaker than Bren. But they've fought so hard until the end & successfully get 3-3 score. Just 1 more match to win! Sigh.. It's so close, yet so far.
Disclaimer: I'm not blaming Kairi, he's a great jungler and I'm his fans--- but I think he cried because maybe deep down he blamed himself. That moment when Baxia jumped at the bush was the point where everything goes downhill, afterall.
But I hope he remember that this lost is not just for him to shoulder. From what I see Onic was outdrafted & outplayed in the last match. The other 4 Onic player also made mistakes.

Most people blame kairi not because he is import player you dumbass if they hate import player so much they won't praise kairi so much in msc eventhough kiboy the mvp. Most people blame kairi simply because most people trust onic will become the first team to unite msc and m series trophy at the same year and break mpl ph team domination in m series to give other team hope. And yet with all the hope he played underperformed so much right at the level of stage when it matter the most. Game 1 he played poorly, game 2 sanz carried the team with cw, game 3 he played poorly again, game 4 he played poorly hayabusha, game 5 cw carried the team, game 6 cw sanz carried again, he lost to many objective lost to many retribution fight, do to many mistake movement. For me personally butts and kairi were so much underperform. However i can understand how he might feel to fight in his homeland against ph team if he win there will be a lot of pressure for him, however if he lose he will lost his golden chance to make history for himself and maybe lost chemistry with his team. However for butts i don't know why but he simply outplayed by flaptzy. Shoutout to flaptzy he clearly winning his and doing his job to cancel cw when the war comes. Only 3 player that shouldn't be embarassed by how they playon that bo7 series, sanz, kiboy, cw.

I think all of Onic was emotional. That was a tough loss, Kiboy and the rest of the guys just held it together. I think Kairi is crying so hard because there was so much expectation and pressure and burden on his shoulders. It's a team sport. The blame shouldn't be on Kairi only. Clearly it was a miscom and wasn't sure also why they went for that last team fight when they were missing one member.

If they are to blame anyone, it's their coach. All of the 4 games won by Bren are under 15mins and that too in a dominating fashion. Onic didn't come up with the solution to deal with Brens early aggression. And the draft in game 7 is questionable. Also checking the bush is necessary since they didn't know the enemy's position and the health of the Lord. And I'm sure Kiboy is the shot-caller there.

The UB finals really was a check ping. Bren banned other onic member’s heroes to see how onic performs and finding out Kai and Kiboy is the real threat. Check the grand finals, they were starving both Kai and Kiboy.

I still think that Kairi got caught red-handed in that bush skirmish is what ultimately ended ONIC's run. But I guess that's just nature of this game. Sometimes one little slip in mid to late and you're screwed. Still, he deserves all the respect from Indo fans. He greatly contributed to the team's performance overall. Claude still not at his power spike..... not enough wave clear on the enhanced minions + Brody still healthy..... Actually when kairi baxia died in that bush, the best way is not engaging the fight and back to defend.. but the mistakes they did is they fight back which is so wrong.. they already knew that brody was so strong because of the items but they did not respect and wait for their hero spike..

When you watch the series, the problem is more on Kiboy positioning and the pick. Bren always looking for Kiboy during this series, they shoud gave Kiboy a tank to soak the damage and Kairi an assasin.

Check bush is Roamer's task but Kaidita is fast to kill that's why change task to kairi tank-jungle role. Butts also can't do check bush because he's waiting for kairi go in first and to do his ulti set but he's late because Faramis drags and pull Kairi far on his range. So INDO reason blaming is really stupidity. They only watching but low understanding on match. If Kairi didn't do the check bush there that he always do every play and rotation, then who? Who the one gonna do check bush?
I agree 100%. Kairi didnt make a mistake. Since the roam is not tanky and he is a tank core, it is his job to zone and check bushes, unfortunately there were 3 AP bren on that bush and the rest is history.
