    I do open tables a lot throughout my practice regime. They’re great for getting the cue action grooving the way it should.

    I love the way you explain what your doing, making it look easy, you want to make it look achievable or nobody would be trying it. Your knowledge of how to move the white about with your ability to explain it while your doing it makes for good viewing my friend

    I’ve got to the point now where I prefer to go for a game of snooker on my own and practice some of the tips you give on this channel. My mates aren’t impressed that I don’t call them much anymore for a game but I’m slowly building my highest break 😅 Thanks for all the great videos and advice.

    Probably the best sort of practice you can do ,as it replicates a game ,that’s how I practice Steve ,clear 5 reds and all the colours then move on to 15 reds in open play and try and get a century ,keeps practice interesting .Great video .

    Hello, mate. Loving your videos so much! Have you considered, and it would require a lot more editing from you, but showing us a rough point on the object ball that you are aiming for? The position on the white is terrific....but with the added object ball would be next level. I don't think anyone else does both? Not only incredibly useful for us, but also unique with online Snooker lessons. But yeah...a lot more work from you! :)

    • @BartonSnooker
      @BartonSnooker  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll try and do it mate. Thanks a lot for your feedback and support. It's massively appreciated 👍👍

      @@BartonSnooker If you could, mate...that really would be a next level for online snooker lessons! Even if it's just for a few of your videos. Keep up the excellent work.

    • @DrumsTheWord
      @DrumsTheWord 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      By the way, I also understand that the white ball has a diameter/width. You're not aiming for a line directly behind the object ball towards the pocket...and that becomes more extreme the larger the angle...but I think the more advanced players would love to see your rough aiming point despite some beginners being confused. Maybe explain the concept with a link in the description to a video specifically on the subject. I'll stop now...as you know what is best for your channel.

    Hi Steve, another awesome video. Thanks so much! ❤️
    I've a question. For some shots, it seems that there is a little bit left english for some shots even though the aim in the right hand corner shows it's a center hit. Is it because of the headcam/video recording?

    Hello Steve I have a question, when I'm playing snooker under bad conditions, especially a thick, slow cloth and humid room, I feel like I get a slightly thicker contact on my shots. I'm not talking about kicks, just on pretty much every shot I feel I have to aim slightly thinner than normal to get the intended result. Is there some logical explanation behind this or is it just in my mind?

  • @alabbadi
    @alabbadi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Steve You make it look so easy, the problem isn't getting the angles for me its potting the balls. too many misses , i might have to come and see you again soon

  • @Alex.The.Lionnnnn

    The camera looks straight down the cue but it looks like you're playing every shot with half a tip of left hand side. Just a camera effect yeah?

    • @BartonSnooker
      @BartonSnooker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the white is moving to the left after it hits the object ball, I will be using a bit of left side. Same if the white is moving to the right after it comes off the object ball, I'll play with right hand side.

    • @mattb231

      To stop the white from hitting the black on the way back up the table. I'm making sure the white comes wide and stays away from the black, pink and blue.
